NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Laura Ingraham encapsulated her views on the current state of the economy under President Joe Biden's administration and said, "You have to hand it to them — they keep trying to put lipstick on a pig and, in isolation, the numbers can even sound pretty impressive."

During a recent episode of 'The Ingraham Angle', she offered a piercing analysis of the Biden administration's economic narrative, accusing them of attempting to "put lipstick on a pig."

Laura Ingraham challenges Joe Biden's economic narrative

Ingraham posed a crucial question, "Wow, it sounds great, but if this is all true, why are so many Americans down about the Biden economy? And why is Trump leading in six of seven swing states?"

She further noted in her monologue, "Now the White House and media stamp their feet here, and they're frustrated that voters aren't giving them any credit for an economic rebound…"

Ingraham questioned the beneficiaries of the new jobs and emphasized, "Perhaps the most disrespectful fact of all relates to who is actually getting all these new jobs."

"Looks like a lot of the job growth is going to non-Americans," she added, citing a New York Times article, which hinted that a substantial portion of new jobs went to non-Americans, fueled by immigration.

Ingraham further scrutinized the latest jobs report and unveiled disconcerting trends, as she added, "Today's jobs report shows zero growth in manufacturing jobs — zero. And important to note, the second biggest category in job growth was among government workers. So this is big government, big bureaucracy, not big manufacturing."

"The jobs numbers today will not move the needle on public opinion any more than Biden's shout-fest State of the Union did, but you can expect the Biden campaign to keep trying to reassure his donors that any day — any day — the tide will turn," she said in conclusion.

Social media echoes support for Laura Ingraham's insights

Social media lit up with supportive reactions to Ingraham's remarks, with one viewer saying, "Laura Ingraham raises a valid point about the importance of recognizing how economic metrics can sometimes overlook crucial details, such as job distribution among different demographics."

Another said, "Laura Ingraham's remark brings attention to the complex dynamics of job creation and the need for a comprehensive approach to economic reporting that considers all aspects of the workforce."

One more viewer noted, "Also government jobs. No private sector jobs. Traitor."

"It’s all an election year ruse & a facade," one tweet read.

"No way!" another comment read.

"The economy is a disaster. Inflation is still high," another viewer observed.

"Typical of them," said a viewer referring to the media.

"Misleading and irresponsible. The economy benefits from diversity and growth, not division. Let's focus on facts, not fear-mongering," said another viewer.
