PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former President Donald Trump has to find a massive $464 million in less than 24 hours to post the bond in the New York civil fraud trial, but he seems unaffected by the looming March 25 deadline and instead plays his favorite sport, golf.

Liberal news network Meidas Touch's editor-in-chief Ron Filipkowski took to X, sharing a video clip of the GOP presumptive nominee playing golf and captioned it, "He hasn't campaigned in over a week, but he keeps posting videos of people praising him for his golf game today."

Trump praised for his golfing skills

In the short video, apparently captured by someone watching Trump play, a woman could be heard saying, "Great shot." The former president also briefly interacted with his admirers.

Recently, Trump also bragged about winning two golf trophies, writing on Truth Social, "It is my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I WON BOTH!"

President Joe Biden wasted no time mocking his predecessor's accomplishment by sharing a screenshot of his Truth Social post on X with the caption, "Congratulations, Donald. Quite the accomplishment."

Trump's love for golfing is famous, and according to Forbes, his Trump Organization owns 11 golf clubs in North America alone, besides eight others across Europe and Asia.

Deadline to post bond nears

The former president's lawyers informed the court last week that they faced "insurmountable difficulties" in securing the $464 million bond, and no updates about the same have come from Trump despite the deadline on March 25.

Furthermore, New York Attorney General Letitia James has started procedures to seize his properties, which include Trump National Golf Course in Briarcliff Manor and Seven Springs, a private estate in Bedford.

In February, NY Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay $355 million along with pre-judgment interest, which now amounts to $464 million, for inflating the price of his physical assets for decades to secure tax benefits and insurance.

Internet criticizes Trump

Netizens slammed Trump for playing golf instead of campaigning and finding a bond to cover the massive penalty in the civil fraud verdict.

One user wrote, "LOSER .. but a fine cheater .. even at golf !"

"All Trump ever did was play golf all four years of his presidency, and he played golf during the most desperate time in America. He'll never change. He's not worthy of being president ever again," an outraged user remarked.

A third individual added, "Besides being the most corrupt, conman and grifter, he is also the laziest president ever."

"I'm sure this is his last time winning on a course where he's allowed to win because after tomorrow, the losing begins... again!" a fourth response read.

Someone else said, "The man is so so needy," while another opined, "Playing golf is all Trump ever did and he’s not even good at that!"
