LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent episode of 'The View', the hosts took a jab at former president Donald Trump as news surfaced that he might need to sell assets to cover a substantial bond in the New York fraud case.

'The View' hosts mock Donald Trump's financial struggles

Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, and guest host Alyssa Milano engaged in a lively discussion, exchanging quips and jabs aimed at Trump's financial woes. The conversation kicked off with Whoopi expressing mock sympathy, followed by Joy's witty remark about offering a tissue.

Whoopi: "I'm so sorry. So, as it turns out, you-know-who says he cannot come up with the cash to cover his $400 million plus bond in his New York fraud case."

Joy: "You need a tissue?"

Whoopi: "I don't know if I'm laughing or crying."

Sara: "I didn't see any real tears."

Whoopi: "There's tears inside me."

The irony of Donald Trump's financial struggles

The hosts bantered about Trump's inability to secure loans due to his track record of not paying bills, referencing instances like the failure of the Taj Mahal casino and unpaid contractors.

They also touched on the irony of conservative figures criticizing billionaires for not financially supporting Trump, Despite their own hesitance to lend him money.

When Joy said, "He doesn't have the money. No one wants to lend him the money in this country," Sunny stated, "The reason people will not lend him money is because he is notorious for stiffing people that work for him."

Exploring Donald Trump's alleged ties and financial mismanagement

The discussion then veered towards the potential involvement of foreign entities like Saudi Arabia and Russia, speculating on their motives and Trump's indebtedness to them.

During the discussion, Whoopi asked, "But wait a minute. What about Jared? Doesn't Jared have 2 billion?" To which Joy replied saying, "Yes, he did but I guess Jared knows he doesn't pay his bills."

Sunny then expressed the opinion that she can't wait to see the chains on Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue. "I'm kind of excited about it," she declared.

Throughout the conversation, the hosts emphasized Trump's purported financial mismanagement, debunking the myth of his business acumen perpetuated during his time in the public eye.
