WASHINGTON, DC: Mark Epstein, the younger brother of Jeffrey Epstein has found himself in hot water after claiming that the late financer had so explosive information about Donald Trump and the Clintons that it could have turned the 2016 presidential election on its head if it had been made public.

The 69-year-old property developer quoted his brother while recalling a conversation he had with him about the showdown between Trump and Hillary Clinton in 2016.

“Here’s a direct quote: ‘If I said what I know about both candidates, they’d have to cancel the election.’ That’s what Jeffrey told me in 2016,” told The Post.

When asked to elaborate on the conversation, Mark, backed off, claiming his brother never told him everything he knew about the then-candidates for president.

Previously, it was revealed that both presidential candidates moved within Epstein’s circle, either directly or indirectly. Flight logs show that Trump traveled on Epstein's private plane seven times in the 1990s, making two or more trips between Palm Beach, Florida, and New York with family members in tow.

Although Hillary is not known to have had personal relationships with Epstein, her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was acquainted with Epstein at least in 1993 during his first term in the White House.

Bill Clinton’s acquaintance with Jeffrey Epstein

Over the years, Epstein and Bill visited each other numerous times, with the convicted sex offender visiting the White House at least 17 times.

In 2002 and 2003, the former president made trips to Europe, Asia, and Africa using Epstein's private plane. Mark claimed Clinton came under fire when his brother accompanied him on a philanthropic trip to Africa.

“Well, when Jeff first took Clinton and I think it was Chris Tucker and some other people to Africa — which was a mistake my brother made by doing that because prior to that he was under the radar; nobody was looking at him,” he said, adding “But when he flew Clinton there, it was like, ‘Who’s this guy flying Clinton?'”

Later on, Epstein's jet earned the infamous moniker the Lolita Express as he used it to sex-traffic underage girls between his various properties.

The 42nd US president has been named as 'John Doe 36' in a trove of court documents related to Epstein released on Wednesday. His name was mentioned more than 50 times in the documents but there was no indication of wrongdoing by him.

Internet reacts to Mark Epstein's claims

Epstein’s claims have garnered immense social media attention, with users slamming him for claiming that Jeffery had enough explosive information about Trump and the Clintons to overturn the election.

“That is nonsense. It seems like they want to frame Trump with Epstein's list,” one user said.

“This coming out is more proof that the Dems are really, really scared of Trump!!” the second user stated.

“An Epstein is an Epstein. But if Donald is dirty he has to be called out” the third user wrote while the fourth one asserted “Sure. He says this after Jeffrey is dead.”

“That could probably be said about every candidate in the last 50 years, so without the context it could mean just about anything,” the fifth user stated.

“The information comes from Mark Epstein, not directly from Jeffrey Epstein himself. This adds another layer of potential error or interpretation,” one more said.
