WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump has admitted to his inner circle that he is unhappy with the legal team's courtroom tactics and doesn't know why he is spending so much money on them, Radar Online reported.

Notably, the former president was not happy with the job that his lawyer Todd Blanche had done in the last few months, as per those close to him.

Donald Trump is furious with his lawyer for not being aggressive

Maggie Haberman of the New York Times reported that Donald Trump is upset with Blanche because he wasn't "aggressive" enough in court. According to Haberman, Trump's affection for Blanche has evolved since then.

The reporter gathered information from sources indicating that Trump complained to his close friends about Blanche—a former federal prosecutor—not "been following his instructions closely, and has been insufficiently aggressive".

Judge Juan Merchan scheduled Trump's criminal trial to begin on April 15, which would make it the first criminal prosecution of a former American president. Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records last year, which prosecutors say was an effort to hide a potential sex scandal, both before and after the 2016 election. Trump wants his attorney to "attack witnesses, attack what the former president sees as a hostile jury pool, and attack the judge, Juan M Merchan", according to those who spoke with Haberman.

Haberman also said that Trump is dissatisfied with the bills he has been receiving from Blanche and other attorneys. According to her, the former president "sometimes refuses to pay them" and has bemoaned his team's expense to his pals.

Moreover, Pecker claimed to have bought negative stories and buried them to assist other celebrities. He claimed to have bought stories for Tiger Woods, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Mark Wahlberg in the past.
