Internet weighs in as source says Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet 'drifted apart' due to busy schedules

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner might be putting a stop to their romance as their conflicting schedules have stopped them from spending time together, according to a source. 

While the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is busy promoting her new vodka seltzer line, Sprinter, in Los Angeles, Timothee has been spotted filming the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic in New York City.

Chalamet and Jenner's romance came as a shock to many when they initially linked in April 2023. As the couple quickly gained attention, some even blamed Jenner for altering her look to fit her new partner.

In an interview with The New York Times, Jenner remained tight-lipped about their blooming relationship despite all the scrutiny.

Now, one source has revealed to OK! Magazine, "They’re hardly together anymore. One might even say they’re on a break. Their lives got busy, and they drifted apart. Of course, once their schedules quiet down, that could all change."

"They still care about each other, so maybe they’ll pick up where they left off. Or maybe it will be out of sight, out of mind," asserted the insider. 

According to another source, the 'Dune: Part Two' star is upset that his romance is drawing attention away from his career aspirations.

Regarding their highly publicized January date night, an informant disclosed, "Timothee didn't like all the attention he got from the Golden Globes, and the kiss took away attention for the real reason he was there. His career is taking off and he wants to protect it and let it thrive based on his talent — not on who he is or isn’t dating. He also wants to protect his relationship with Kylie."

"They're serious about each other and they’re in love and pleased to prove the haters wrong," added the source. 

They expressed, "This isn’t some fling. Timothee thinks Kylie is an incredible businesswoman and the best mom," referring to the two children Jenner shares with her ex-partner, Travis Scott, son Aire, 2, and daughter Stormi, 6.

Jenner took to Instagram on Friday, April 5, to post a video showcasing her lengthy brunette extensions amid reports about her and Chalamet's break up, as per OK! Magazine.

She showed off her long, wavy hair while blowing kisses and winking at the camera. The post came just days after she uploaded a photo of herself sporting a gorgeous pixie cut.

Netizens took to Reddit to share their opinion over Chalamet and Jenner's supposed split. 

One expressed, "There were loads of false break up reports even with ‘sources’ last summer, and then came the Beyoncé concert so… until TMZ report it I’ll take it with a pinch of salt."

"Idk because in her newest TikTok she’s still wearing his and hers matching Cartier jewelry (they both started wearing them around may/june last year)," said a person in disbelief.

Someone else assumed, "I kinda belive it because of the way Kylie has been acting. She renewed her codependent relationship with Stassie, and i think Kylie needs emotional support 24/7 when she is going through something."

One more noted, "It was fun while it lasted!! Idk if this report is true tho, so who knows. I was hoping to see them at the Met but I doubt he’ll be going since he’s in the middle of filming but she’ll def be there."

"I do not believe this lol, I actually think their busy schedules work in their favour. Kylie has kids so will need her own family time, so Timothee busy filming and then having their own lives probably helps (IMO)," chimed in an individual.
