WASHINGTON, DC: US Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) was slammed by MAGA followers who unearthed an interview clip of her from last year where she is seen claiming Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) has been “whitewashed” after marrying a White woman, Mediaite reported on Sunday, March 30.

The attack on Crockett came at the heel of the outrage she triggered by referring to Texas Governor Greg Abbott as "Governor Hot Wheels" while speaking at a Human Rights Campaign dinner in Los Angeles on March 22.

The jibe has been widely interpreted as a reference to Abbott using a wheelchair since the age of 26, when he was left paralyzed after being hit by a falling tree while jogging.

One of the most vocal figures within the Democratic Party at present, Crockett had appeared on 'The Breakfast Club' podcast, hosted by Charlamagne tha God and Jess Hilarious, in June 2024, and tore into Donalds, a Black Republican supporting President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.

Crockett referred to Black conservatives as “skinfolk who definitely are not our kinfolk,” before calling out Donalds over his interracial marriage.

"The fact that you’re sitting around talking about ‘life was better under Jim Crow,’ like, is this because you don’t understand history?” stated Crockett. “Or literally it’s because you married a white woman and so you think that whitewashed you?”

"I feel like they give him his talking points and he’s like, ‘Yes, massa, I got it,'" she further mocked.

MAGA slams Jasmine Crockett over her remarks

MAGA supporters on the social media platform X have been sharing the unearthed clip on social media and attacking Crockett for her 'racist' remarks. The following tweets demonstrate their takes.

"Jasmine Crockett just attacked Byron Donalds for marrying a white woman. 'Progressives' are undoing the racial progress that has been made in America the last 60 years. They're sick," wrote a user.

"Let her talk and talk and talk and talk. Dream come true for Republicans," jibed another.

"This is open racism from a sitting member of Congress and face of the Democratic Party, and that’s apparently just fine with the press," expressed a third.

"People have no time for this racism anymore. She does not represent Texas values and needs to be replaced next time round," chided a fourth.

"Jasmine Crockett was fine with Kamala Harris having a white husband, but criticizes (R-FL) @ByronDonalds for marrying a white woman. Jasmine calls him 'Whitewashed,'" noted a fifth.

"Jasmine Crockett is the epitome of a race hustler. How is she a United States Representative?" asked yet another.

"Jasmine Crockett is prime example of why the black community has become their own worst enemy," slammed a seventh.
