Jelly Roll announces year-or-two touring break to 'heal' after Bunnie XO divorce

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jelly Roll is stepping away from the spotlight for an extended period following his divorce from Bunnie XO, announcing the decision during a recent concert in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The country singer also revealed that his focus is now on healing. The announcement comes weeks after the former couple finalized their divorce and publicly discussed moving forward with their separate lives.

Jelly Roll announces touring hiatus after divorce 

Jelly Roll revealed during his concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Utah last week that he plans to take an extended hiatus from performing. “This has truly been a lifetime experience for me,” he told the audience, according to Country Now.

“And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two,” he said, adding, “I’m fixing to take some time off and heal. Thank you for the opportunity.” His final scheduled performance took place on July 30 at Weidner Field in Colorado.

His decision to step away from touring follows the finalization of his divorce from Bunnie XO last month. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, she will receive a one-time lump-sum payment from the singer.

The former couple also entered into a confidential property settlement agreement (CPSA) covering the division of their assets, including property, furniture, vehicles, an aircraft, accounts, debt, and intellectual property.

The documents also stated that they acknowledged ignoring warnings from their legal teams against having children together after the divorce. Despite that, Bunnie XO said they still plan to have children through IVF.

Bunnie XO addresses Jelly Roll's new romance

Following the divorce, both Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO have moved on romantically. On the June 18 episode of her 'Dumb Blonde' podcast, she shared that he had already started dating after filing for divorce in May following nearly 10 years of marriage.

“Daddy Roll is probably in his finest season, right?. He looks so good. He is healthier than he's ever been,” Bunnie XO said, adding that he had “started dating. J is a little lover, and he, you know, he likes to snuggle and he likes to cuddle,” she continued.

While saying she was “fine over here,” she explained that she was not ready to date herself. “The crazy thing is, I'm not even ready. I'm ready to focus on myself and pour into myself,” she said. 

A source previously told PEOPLE that the former couple had “always had a complicated dynamic,” dating back to the beginning of their relationship.

Meanwhile, on the Fourth of July, Bunnie XO was seen kissing 24-year-old 'Calabasas Confidential' star Dylan Wolf at Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville bar in Nashville, Tennessee.

Although the former couple appeared to remain on good terms, Jelly Roll’s 18-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, hinted in a TikTok last month that the real reason behind the divorce would surprise fans.
