Jelly Roll makes surprising phone call to soon-to-be-ex-wife Bunnie Xo on camera amid divorce
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jelly Roll surprised his fans and followers as he made a phone call to his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Bunnie Xo, on camera amid their ongoing divorce.
The country singer and the podcaster have been married for almost ten years. But on May 18, Jelly filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

The news of the divorce, however, came out almost a month later, and since then, a lot of speculation has been made about the estranged pair. Amidst this, both of them have shared their side of the story via different media.
Now, Jelly, born Jason DeFord, has recently published ‘The Divorce Vlog’ on his YouTube page. At the end of the video, he can be seen enjoying a very sweet phone call with Bunnie, with whom he co-parents his two children — daughter Bailee Ann DeFord and son Noah "Buddy" DeFord.
In the call, the media producer, 46, mentioned her ‘Dumb Blonde’ podcast, saying all of people’s answers regarding their divorce will be answered there. Just before ending the call, the Grammy winner then says, looking into the camera, “Yeah, y'all thought we were gonna hate each other, didn't ya? Plot twist, b****es!”
Jelly Roll says Bunnie Xo 'will be my best friend forever'
This came after on Thursday, June 18, night during his concert at Saratoga Springs, New York, Jelly called Bunnie his “best friend”.
“Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends. We just got off the phone earlier today,” he told the crowd.
Jelly also asserted that “nobody cheated on nobody,” as he added, “She just did a whole podcast about it. Every word of it is the truth. That will be my best friend forever. This is the only time I will ever speak about it. Bunnie, I love you, baby.”
He even expressed his gratitude towards Bunnie while noting, “Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that.”

Bunnie also seemed to be on the same page as on an episode of her ‘Dumb Blonde’ podcast, she shared, “J is my best friend. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other.”
“Our future is so much more important, and being happy and healthy and best friends through this is probably the biggest gift that we could have given each other,” she explained.
