CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Rep Jerry Nadler (D-NY) agreed to the proposal of rich White men paying more in taxes while speaking with comedian Lionel McGloin at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

According to the New York Post, McGloin posed as a social media influencer on the floor of the DNC, where he was credentialed as a reporter by The Free Press. His interview with Nadler and other Democratic leaders such as New York Attorney General Letitia James was uploaded on YouTube on Friday, August 23.

In the interview clip that went viral online,  Lionel NcGloin is seen seated next to Jerry Nadler at the DNC, asking, "Can we please this year — It’d be so brat — have a higher tax rate for rich White men?”

“Well, if you have a Democratic Congress, we certainly will,” stated the congressman, leading the comedian to enthusiastically reply, "Yeah, baby, tax those rich old Whities!”

McGloin is later seen running into AG James at the event, whom he asks, "Are you worried Donald Trump’s gonna weaponize the justice system if he gets in power?"

"I am concerned about Project 2025," shared James, who has successfully prosecuted Trump in the NY civil fraud case. "And it is important that individuals understand that Project 2025 basically consolidates power in the hands of one dangerous man. And so it's really critically important..."

"That he (Trump) will start prosecuting his political enemies," interjected McGloin, to which James agreed.

The complete video of McGloin at the DNC includes his interviews with former Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway, former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, director JJ Abrams, and NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo.
