WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News host Jesse Watters had a visibly shocked reaction after spotting Senator John Fetterman walking into the House chamber in something viewers rarely associate with him - a suit.

The moment unfolded in real time during Fox News coverage, with Watters appearing momentarily stunned as cameras cut to the Pennsylvania Democrat.

The unexpected wardrobe choice quickly became a talking point on air, with co-host Kayleigh McEnany also weighing in.

Watters did not hide his surprise when the camera showed Fetterman dressed formally.

“Now we’re looking at Fetterman in a suit for the first time,” Watters said, placing his hands on his head.

“I can’t even process this!”

His reaction suggested genuine disbelief at the senator’s appearance, turning what might have been a routine visual into a viral-style television moment.

The brief exchange quickly became one of the lighter moments of the broadcast, with Watters’ dramatic response drawing immediate attention.

Kayleigh McEnany laughs and weighs in

McEnany, seated alongside Watters, appeared amused by the situation and did not hold back her laughter before offering her own take.

“Yeah, as his Democratic peers engage in all of their antics, John Fetterman finally whips out the suit,” she said.

“It’s amazing and maybe like a subtle little shot at his peers and his comrades there.”

John Fetterman’s history of breaking with Democrats

The wardrobe moment comes amid a broader pattern in which Fetterman has occasionally distanced himself from his own party’s tone and messaging.

At one point, the senator sharply criticized Democratic campaign strategy, calling the party’s messaging “toxic” after years of what he described as lecturing voters.

“I think their primary currency was shaming and scolding and talking down to people and telling them, hey, I know better than you, or you’re dopes, or you’re a bro, or you’re ignorant, how can you be this dumb? I can’t imagine it. And then, by the way, they’re fascists. How can you vote for that?” Fetterman previously said, according to Fox News.

He has also signaled a willingness to diverge from party orthodoxy on national security matters.

“Sure, absolutely,” Fetterman said on CNN when asked about supporting potential military action against Iran if deemed necessary. “If it continues to make more sense, absolutely. I think I was the only Democrat who fully supported our strike on their Iranian nuclear facilities last year.”
