LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Political commentator Jesse Watters sparked a flurry of reactions across the internet with his recent comments regarding the upcoming debates between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

Watters, known for his outspoken views on Fox News, suggested that Trump should demand a drug test for Biden before engaging in any debates.

Calls for transparency amid accusations and speculation

"The other guy's an insurrectionist, he's a convicted felon, I shouldn't even be debating him," Watters quoted, suggesting that Biden could have avoided debates altogether. However, he speculated that Biden's decision to engage in debates stems from his perceived need to shore up support amid declining poll numbers.

Central to Watters' suggestion is the insinuation that Biden may be under the influence of performance-enhancing substances during debates, thus warranting a drug test.

"I'll do these debates, but I need a drug test. I demand the president pee in a cup because you know they're going to give him something," Watters suggested, asserting the need for transparency and fairness in the electoral process.

This suggestion has divided opinions online, with some viewing it as a legitimate concern regarding the integrity of the electoral process, while others see it as a baseless attack on Biden's character.

Jesse Watters explores the Biden family's challenges

Watters further speculated on various legal and financial challenges facing the Biden family, including upcoming trials related to Hunter Biden's alleged wrongdoing and the Biden family's financial disclosures.

“Joe Biden himself is low on cash, he just released his latest financials. Where'd all his money go? He must be paying for some of Hunter's lawyers or maybe paying for his own lawyers,” Watters commented, highlighting financial challenges faced by the Biden camp.

"If you think about it, there's a June 3 Hunter Biden trial that starts on guns. And then there's a June 20 trial that starts on taxes," Watters continued, pointing out legal challenges looming over the Biden family.

"There's not enough men to throw at this war machine. And you think prices are going down in the summer? You have air conditioning, you have gasoline, things are already up 20 to 50 percent, they're not going down," Watters added, highlighting broader geopolitical and economic concerns.

Social media buzz: divergent opinions and debate demands

Amidst the flurry of social media commentary, diverse opinions emerged regarding the proposal for drug testing for both candidates.

One user wrote, "Biden would take the drug test. Would Trump? Biden would pass, Donnie would not."

Another said, "Hopefully it's warm on the stage lol."

Another commented, "Drug tests for both on stage or nothing. That's the debate deal."

One user replied, "Trump should be able to record the entire debate to be played on other networks. I have a feeling they will edit the debate to make Biden look good."

Another added, "Biden will have to be on drugs just to stay up that late."
