Jessica Biel offers rare insight into motherhood while raising two sons with Justin Timberlake
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress Jessica Biel opened up about raising her two sons with her husband, Justin Timberlake, in a recent interview. The 44-year-old actress, who is returning to the big screen after several years, discussed how motherhood changed her body and how she sees herself now.
She revealed it took 11 years to feel like herself again and reflected on how becoming a mother changed her life for the better. Biel has been married to Timberlake for nearly 14 years. For those unaware, the actress is returning to the big screen in ‘Matchbox: The Movie.’

During an interview with People, for her upcoming movie alongside John Cena, the mother-of-two shared that returning to a movie set feels like coming home. She also credited her children, Silas, 11, and Phineas, 6, for playing a big part in making her feel at home again.
“After you have kids, your body does crazy things,” Biel explained. “And you’re like, ‘When is this body ever going to feel like mine again?’ And I think, finally, I have an 11-year-old and a 6-year-old now, and I kind of feel like myself again after 11 years, which sounds crazy,” she added.
Speaking about the action-packed movie’s many car-chase scenes, Biel said, “I really felt like I could trust myself to have the physical capabilities to do something like this again.”
She further added, “It just was the perfect timing and felt like an opportunity that my kids would be proud of, that they could see. And that maybe they’d think I was kind of cool because, you know, cars and stuff.”
There is no doubt that Biel is a great mother, especially since her career has inspired her eldest son, Silas, to join her in the action film. During an interview with E! News, she revealed, “He plays a small part in the movie at the very end, which is really cute.”

In ‘Matchbox: The Movie,’ the 44-year-old actress takes on several action-packed scenes involving high-speed car chases, with Biel behind the wheel for almost all of them. Speaking about her action-packed career, Biel has long been no stranger to action films, having appeared in movies such as ‘Total Recall,’ ‘The A-Team,’ and ‘Blade: Trinity.’
Considering her career trajectory and choice of roles, it’s safe to say that Biel is back in action.
