ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Jill Biden, the wife of President Joe Biden, commended the POTUS at a post-debate rally for “answering every question” in the TV debate with former President Donald Trump, according to News.com.au.

Amid concerns surrounding the cognitive abilities of both presidential candidates, some voters have expressed their disillusionment with the choice between two men aged 81 and 78 for the next four years at the White House.

During the debate, moderator Jake Tapper briefly addressed the age issue, prompting former President Trump to boast about his golfing skills.

President Joe Biden, known for a series of verbal gaffes during his tenure, stumbled through several sentences and appeared to slur at one point during the first presidential debate of this election cycle.

The Commander-in-Chief also veered off-topic to discuss the computer chip industry in response to a question about his age.

Despite these blunders onstage, the First Lady expressed confidence in her husband's performance and his ability to lead the nation until 2028.

What did Jill Biden say to President Joe Biden at post-debate Democrat rally?

“You did such a great job, you answered every question and you knew all the facts,” the FLOTUS remarked.

“Let me ask the crowd, what did Trump do? Lied,” she said.

The audience cheered as President Biden, arguably the most powerful man in world politics, stood awkwardly in the back with his mouth half open.

Subsequently, the video footage was blasted by conservatives online, as the post-debate mudslinging erupted amongst followers of both parties.

On Thursday, June 27, when the debate discussion turned to the two men's ages, Donald Trump—who has frequently boasted about his skill on the golf course—claimed that Joe Biden “couldn't hit a ball 50 yards” after spending more than an hour mocking the incumbent's cognitive ability.

The 81-year-old Democrat statesman dismissed the notion that he was too old to be re-elected.

“First of all, I spent half of my career being criticized for being the youngest person in politics. I was the second-youngest person ever elected to the Senate. Now I’m the oldest,” Biden said.

“This guy’s younger and a lot less competent. Look at the record. Look at what I’ve done,” the POTUS remarked, adding. “I’ve turned around the horrible situation he left me.”

When asked the same question, the 2024 presumptive Republican presidential nominee claimed he’s feeling as healthy as he did thirty years ago, and talked about the cognitive tests he had taken.

“I aced them, both of them, as you know. We made it public,” Mr Trump said.

“I’d like to see him just take one, a real easy one. Go through the first five questions, he couldn’t do it. I took two cognitive tests. I took physical exams every year."

“I’m in very good health. I just won two club championships, not even senior, two regular club championships. To do that, you have to be quite smart and you have to be able to hit the ball a long way. And I do it. He doesn’t do it. He can’t hit a ball 50 yards.

“He challenged me to a golf match. He can’t hit a ball 50 yards. I think I’m in very good shape. I feel that I’m in as good a shape as I was 25-30 years ago.”
