For the outing, Biden repeated the navy blue Christian Siriano dress with the word ‘VOTE’ written all over it, per Daily Mail.

Jill Biden wears cursed dress a second time

When First Lady Jill Biden had worn the Christian Siriano dress during the presidential debate between President Joe Biden and Donald Trump on June 27, it garnered negative sentiments as fans, along with multiple outlets, criticized the outfit. The New York Times even claimed she wore the dress to grab attention.

The dress also did not bid well for her husband’s presidential campaign as the debate ended up being a disaster for him. It subsequently led him to cancel his reelection campaign and Kamala Harris took up the candidature.

Nevertheless, following Jill Biden's first appearance, designer Christian Siriano praised her look on X, per Daily Mail.

He wrote, “Dr Biden wearing my dress sends a clear message to us all. A vote for Biden is a vote for human and civil rights,” before adding, “As a young American brand and designer, what we can do is give our clothes a voice and I hope this speaks to you. Now let’s get to work!”

On Monday, Jill Biden restyled the dress as she wore a navy blue blazer on top of her dress while campaigning for Harris.

Social media users were not happy with Jill Biden's 'Vote' dress and they did not hold back from expressing their disapproval.

One user said, "She must have worn it because her other clothes were already packed! Lol."

Someone else added, "That’s not a political statement on her dress, it’s ‘sticky note’ reminders for Joe."

"Christ!! What happened to Dr Jill, thanks for reminding me to vote for Trump!!!" commented someone else.

Meanwhile, the dress did not get many positive reviews even the first time she wore it. At that time, a user remarked, "Jill Biden’s Vote dress was $4000. Are tax payers flipping the bill for that??"

Another user added at that time, "I'll vote for Biden, but I was very offended that Jill Biden wore that "vote" dress. As if we need to be reminded by an article of clothing. It was very narcissistic."

"What kind of dress was Jill Biden wearing? The word Vote plastered all over it made he look like a billboard," a comment from that time read.
