Jimmy Kimmel calls his son Billy ‘weird kid' as he opens up about 7-yr-old's health

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jimmy Kimmel has labeled his son a “weird kid” while speaking about his health in a new episode of the iHeartPodcast 'Politickin' with hosts Gavin Newsom, Marshawn Lynch, and Doug Hendrickson.

The late-night host shared on Monday, August 12, as per People, “He's constantly squeezing his mother's a**. He says, 'It's so juicy.’”

Jimmy Kimmel says Billy is a 'very funny kid’

Jimmy Kimmel is a father of four, sharing his 32-year-old daughter Katie and 30-year-old son Kevin with his first wife, Gina Maddy, and his son Billy and 9-year-old daughter Jane with his current wife, Molly McNearney.

During the podcast discussing Billy’s health, the 56-year-old comedian shared that his son, who had his third open-heart surgery in May due to congenital heart disease, is doing so well that "You'd never know other than the scar on his chest."

“He's a very funny kid, he's totally fine now. Hopefully, he'll never have to have another surgery of any kind thanks to the Children's Hospital in LA, which is a great hospital," he asserted.

Jimmy Kimmel previously hailed Billy's strength

This followed an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month, where Jimmy Kimmel shared, “Billy's doing great. He had open-heart surgery; you know he's got the scars and everything, but he's just mentally right back where he was which is crazy.”

“Physically, you know, we're gonna have to be careful with him for a couple of months but he's doing really well,” he noted.

At the time, the father-of-four added, “They're made of rubber, you know, everybody says that kids are so resilient and the doctors actually explained it to me which I don't know why it never occurred to me before because they're still growing.”

Jimmy Kimmel opened up about Billy's third open-heart surgery in heartfelt Instagram post

In May, Jimmy Kimmel shared a lengthy post on his Instagram account that showed Billy lying on a hospital bed.

He proudly shared, “This weekend, our boy Billy had his third (of three, we hope) open heart surgery. We went into this experience with a lot of optimism and nearly as much fear and came out with a new valve inside a happy, healthy kid.”

Kimmel also mentioned at the time, “Thanks to those loving strangers who took time to pray for and send positive energy to our baby, thanks to our family and friends for rallying around us to an almost-ridiculous extent, thank you to my wife Molly for being stronger than is reasonable for any Mom to be and Billy, you are the toughest (and funniest) 7-year-old we know.”

“Nothing matters more than taking care of each other. With love and gratitude, Jimmy,” he concluded his post.
