MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: On the Thursday, June 20 episode, of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', late-night host Jimmy Kimmel pointed out some troubling reports by Ramin Setoodeh, suggesting that Donald Trump’s mental faculties may be declining.

Setoodeh, co-editor-in-chief of Variety, shared insights from his new book during an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, revealing that he had interviewed Trump six times for the book, but the former president did not remember him.

'Apprentice in Wonderland' by Setoodeh takes a behind-the-scenes look at the reality show 'The Apprentice', which Trump hosted from 2008 to 2015.

Jimmy Kimmel calls Donald Trump's mental decline 'very scary'

Throughout these interviews, Setoodeh claimed Trump was repetitive and made several erroneous claims such as Joan Rivers voting for him in 2016 when Rivers had died in 2014.

Seizing the opportunity, Kimmel quipped, “So he’s right. Dead people are voting! Maybe she voted with her Ouija board,” referencing one of Trump’s debunked claims about election fraud.

Kimmel then noted that Setoodeh found Trump to be "meandering and confusing" during their conversations.

In one instance, he disclosed that Trump seemed to believe he still held presidential powers and excused himself from the interview. The author said, "There was one day where he told me he needed to go upstairs to deal with Afghanistan, even though he clearly didn’t."

“That’s gotta be his codeword for the toilet, right? I gotta make the Afghanistan,” Kimmel cracked, then offered a worrying observation.

“It’s very scary to think that the guy who was telling us to inject bleach into our veins is just now deteriorating mentally,” he said. “That would mean that when he was drawing in Sharpie on the weather maps, he was fine.”

Allegedly, the Trump campaign has dismissed the claims of cognitive decline, stating that Trump didn't recall Setoodeh because he is "a nobody and insignificant" and "never made an impression."

An individual elaborated further, saying, ""I've got to go deal with Afghanistan" said Trump ending an interview with reporters last Friday. Wow. Trump sure has a rich fantasy life."
