LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Donald Trump's recent public appearance after his legal entanglements led to a colorful exchange on 'Fox and Friends Weekend'.

Jimmy Kimmel, known for his sharp wit and keen observations, didn't let the opportunity pass to dissect the former president's words and actions.

Donald Trump's late-night escapade amid legal turmoil

Trump's escapade from his Golf Club in New Jersey to a UFC fight and back to Florida drew attention, especially given his recent legal troubles. Kimmel humorously remarked on Trump's late-night escapade, juxtaposing it with the gravity of his guilty verdict.

“Forget the fact that he had four years to do this the first time around, and forget the fact that he brought half the classified files to his house,” Kimmel said. “What I found interesting: He’s very quick to answer the first two questions, but No 3? Not quite as fast.”

However, the highlight of Kimmel's analysis came when Trump addressed the issue of declassifying classified files, notably those related to 9/11, JFK, and Epstein.

Trump's hesitation in committing to declassify the Epstein files raised eyebrows. Kimmel cleverly pointed out Trump's swift responses to the first two questions compared to the last, implying discomfort or uncertainty on the topic.

The ex-president promptly responded with a "yes" to each query.

"Will you declassify the Epstein files?" inquired Rachel Campos-Duffy, co-host of "Fox & Friends Weekend," alluding to documents related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who had connections with Trump.

There was a moment of silence from Trump before he replied, "Yes."

Kimmel provided an interpretation, "Not all, if there's any mention of me, then no," remarked Kimmel.

Jimmy Kimmel's climate critique: unpacking Donald  Trump's absurd logic

Moreover, Kimmel didn't shy away from critiquing Trump's unconventional take on climate change. Trump's dismissive attitude towards rising sea levels elicited laughter from Kimmel and his audience. Kimmel's analogy, likening Trump's belly in a bathtub to rising sea levels, humorously highlighted the absurdity of Trump's logic.

"Trump's climate change commentary, particularly his assertion that a minimal rise in sea levels equates to an increase in beachfront property, was met with skepticism by Kimmel and his audience. Kimmel's humorous analogy, likening Trump's reasoning to a scenario involving a gelatinous belly in a bathtub, emphasized the lack of coherence in Trump's argument."

Public speculation and commentary

Users across social media platforms engaged in speculative dialogue regarding Trump's potential involvement with Epstein and the fate of related evidence.

One user wrote, "Most of the Epstein evidence will never see the light of day. Too many people in high places would be implicated, worldwide."

Another added, "Trump is absolutely on Epstein's list. There's a reason he supported Maxwell and wished her well after Epstein was arrested. "

One said, "He is afraid his followers will find out about his time with a 14-year-old and Epstein, which might put him in a different light to them."

Another replied, "Just because he said yes in the interview doesn't mean a thing....he could change his mind depending on how it helps him personally...."

One commented, "Hard to believe anyone could see the Trump clan as anything but Comedic fodder. I mean, it's like nitwit central."

One said, "Oh and Go home Donnie... just go home the ex-president CANNOT get a security clearance now.... the party is over Donnie...."
