NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In recent news, Donald Trump expressed his endorsement of Louisiana's new law mandating the display of the Ten Commandments in all public school classrooms via his Truth Social platform and concurrently, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel humorously highlighted Trump's record of either breaking or seemingly endorsing violations of the Ten Commandments.

Reportedly, Governor Jeff Landry signed a law requiring religious posters in public schools, making it the first state to do so with him and Attorney General Liz Murrill prepared to defend the law in court.

The ACLU, ACLU of Louisiana, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and the Freedom from Religion Foundation are suing, arguing it violates students' rights to religious freedom and the separation of church and state.

Jimmy Kimmel quips about how Donald Trump derespected Biblical rules

During his show, Kimmel presented a comedic slideshow featuring images illustrating instances where the former president appeared to disregard these Biblical rules.

For the commandments "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" and "Thou shalt not make any graven image," Kimmel humorously implied that Trump and his followers elevate him to a god-like status.

He also suggested that Trump violated "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain" by marketing Trump-branded Bibles.

Kimmel illustrated "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy" with a picture of Trump golfing on a Sunday. When addressing the commandment to "Honor thy father and thy mother."

Lastly, Kimmel referenced "Thou shalt not commit adultery" with a photo of Trump and adult film star Stormy Daniels, pointing to Trump's well-known infidelity scandal.
