LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ABC’s 'The View' co-hosts speculated on what President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump must do to have a successful debate on CNN slated for June 27.

The co-hosts discussed one warning that Trump could bring up Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, which might trigger an emotional response.

The panel discussed the upcoming strategies Biden and Trump should employ to rattle each other and perform well.

Co-host Joy Behar warned that Trump might bring up Hunter Biden to provoke the president.

"What if Trump says something about his son, about Biden’s son — that’s a trigger point?" she said, according to Fox News.

Alyssa Farah Griffin mentioned that Trump would have a good night if he appears "not crazy" and sticks to substantive policy points.

Joe Biden needs to remain 'conscious' to counter conservative narrative

Ana Navarro added that Biden needs to counter the conservative narrative by simply showing up and staying conscious.

"I think the Republicans and Trump and his minions have done themselves such a disservice with all of these edited cut and splice videos spreading around of Biden seeming lost and decrepit," she explained.

"They’ve lowered the bar so that if Joe Biden shows up and doesn’t keel over on his way to the podium, he’s had a good night," she added.

Joe Biden should focus on getting under Donald Trump's skin

Navarro also stated that Biden should focus on getting under Trump’s skin.

"I think he needs to mock him, get under his skin. He needs to cure Trump amnesia that this country has and remind us of the horror of the four years," she said.

Sarah Haines then agreed on riling up Trump but suggested Biden avoid mockery.

"You could stay the more, like, regular person and be the contrast to his crazy, just by talking about some of the things that enrage him. Talk about who won the election," she said, adding "He is a highly emotional reactive human being."

Sarah Haines says 'mocking is Donald Trump's weapon'

"I would prefer he doesn’t mock him because mocking is Donald Trump’s weapon. He does it well. Let him do that. Beat him on calm topics that will just make him lose his mind," Haines added.

Behar voiced her concern about Trump criticizing Hunter Biden, but Sunny Hostin expressed confidence in Biden. "I think Biden is a real statesman, and I think he will rise to that occasion," she said, adding "And we know who Trump is. He’s a convicted felon."

Navarro pointed out the risks for Trump in attacking Hunter Biden. "You know something? If Donald Trump goes after Hunter Biden, he does it at his own peril," she said.

"It’s few American families that haven’t been touched by the scourge of addiction, including the Trump family. He has a brother who died of addiction," she added.

Internet reacts to 'The View' hosts' predictions

The internet reacted strongly to the panel's discussion. "He will come off as the angry senile old man that he is. How dare you!" wrote one on X referring to Joe Biden if Trump can trigger him over son Hunter Biden.

Another commented, "It shouldn't affect him, Hunter is the smallest man Joe knows. And he's so proud of him. Why should anything upset Joe? All he has to do is debate. He's got the network and anchors on his side. What more can they hand him on a silver platter"

Others predicted a one-sided debate, expressing hope that Biden would perform well. "Don’t worry yourself it’s going to be a one-sided debate."

"The View can relax. Biden has been fielding GOP & media Hunter comments for 3years. They aren't going to suddenly. “ trigger “ Biden," argued one.
