WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News revealed unearthed note cards from Joe Biden's presidency that detailed reminders about well-known Democrats and celebrities for public events.

The cards included photos and biographies of high-profile Democrats, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, for Biden's reference during public appearances.

The documents, obtained by the station, reveal that Biden relied on five different “palm cards,” which are hand-sized notes often used by politicians on the campaign trail.

The cards were found amid an investigation into the Biden administration’s use of an autopen.

Four of the five cards carried the stamp “President has seen.” One card focused on recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and included photos and short biographies of Clinton, actor Denzel Washington, chef Jose Andres, and philanthropist David Rubenstein.

Clinton was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom during Biden’s final weeks in office. The note under her photo reads that she “was the Secretary of State in the Obama-Biden administration.”

Another recipient, Washington, was described as an actor, director, and producer whom The New York Times called “one of the greatest actors of the 21st century."

Notes included Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin and scripted ABC query

Another palm card prepared for Biden read “Judicial Confirmations Milestone Speech” and featured photos of Schumer and Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin.

It listed their Senate roles, party affiliation, and states. The card also carried the “President has seen” stamp.

Biden marked his administration’s confirmation of 235 judicial nominees in January during a speech from the State Dining Room, where both Schumer and Durbin joined him.

One more card included details about Hollywood director Francis Ford Coppola and his family before the 47th Kennedy Center Honors in December 2024.

Another was timestamped “Saturday, January 18 Greets” and featured a photo and bio of White House Historical Association President Stewart McLaurin. That card also included information on Illinois Gov JB Pritzker, his wife, son, and daughter.

A fifth card contained a prewritten question from ABC News reporter Mary Bruce. The handwritten note on it read “Question #3,” followed by: “2024: How do YOU view the path forward? How do YOU think about YOUR place in history?”

It also referenced Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s debt limit bill.

White House slams Joe Biden’s reliance on note cards

The White House drew a contrast with President Donald Trump when the outlet asked if POTUS used palm cards.

“President Trump gives unfettered access to the media and answers every question imaginable, without pre-screening the press questions or collecting reporters’ palm cards ahead of time like his incompetent predecessor,” White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers told Fox News. She added, “Unlike Joe Biden, President Trump is actually running our country, and he doesn’t ever shy away from taking on the fake news to deliver the truth.”

A senior White House press official added that the team “does not prepare any reporter palm cards” and does not “ask for reporters to submit their questions to the president ahead of time.”

The Biden administration is also under scrutiny for its use of an autopen to sign official documents, including clemency orders, executive orders, and other presidential papers.
