LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer-songwriter and actor Joe Jonas is opening up about the impact fatherhood has had on his life, revealing that his daughters have become his greatest source of purpose and motivation.

During a recent episode of the 'Hey Jonas!' podcast, he reflected on co-parenting with ex-wife Sophie Turner, raising their two daughters, and the values he hopes to pass on to them. Joe also shared why his children continue to shape the way he approaches both life and work.

Joe Jonas opens up about fatherhood

During the podcast, the brothers were asked by a fan whether becoming fathers had been healing for them. Joe responded by discussing his experience as a single dad and the role his daughters play in helping him through challenging times.

"I think in my saddest moments, I'm able to be reminded quickly that a hug from them can solve the world's problems, in my own world," he said. He acknowledged that many people share similar experiences, adding, "And I know I'm not hyper unique."

He continued, "There are a lot of people in my situation that are single parents and go through this."

He also expressed gratitude for his co-parenting relationship with Turner and the support system around him.

"I'm grateful that I have a co-parent that I can balance even the bad days. But I think being able to have good people around me to help me navigate it is really special, and they've taught me that I'll be okay. Even in my toughest days."

In April, Joe offered a rare glimpse into his life as a father by sharing a photo of a note left for him by one of his daughters. The note featured scribbles at the top and bottom, with hearts drawn in the center, and was placed beneath a baked good on a plate.

His daughter attempted to write the word "dad," adding an extra "d." Beneath it, she wrote "I LOVE YOU" in capital letters.

Joe explained why having strong female role models is important for his daughters, adding, "As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them."

Looking ahead, he shared the values he hopes his daughters will carry with them throughout life. "I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confident and know that they can do literally anything they want," he said.
