LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Joe Jonas has opened up about his co-parenting dynamic with ex-wife Sophie Turner, less than two years after their split.
The singer, 35, shares two daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, with the 'Game of Thrones' actress, 29.
Jonas and Turner married in 2019 but divorced in 2024 after a legal battle over custody. Despite challenges, they eventually reached a shared custody agreement for their children.

Joe Jonas calls Sophie Turner an 'incredible mom' in rare interview
Speaking to Jay Shetty in a TikTok video, Jonas shared how their relationship has improved after an acrimonious divorce, saying, “I have a beautiful coparenting relationship that I’m really grateful for.”
Joe added, “Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true.”

He also said he wants their daughters to grow up with strong female role models. “As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them,” Jonas continued.
“I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confidence and know that they can do literally anything they want.”
Sophie Turner shows support for Joe Jonas' music
Turner, on her part, hinted at a friendly relationship with her ex by sharing his new album on Instagram.
Over the weekend, she posted an image of Jonas’ album 'Music for People Who Believe in Love' on her Stories, captioned “Go go @joejonas.” The album was officially released on Friday, May 23.
The couple, who began dating in 2016 and married in 2019, faced a difficult split in 2023 that included a custody battle.
During the legal dispute, Turner even filed a child abduction claim against Jonas but later dismissed it in early 2024.

Reflecting on the public breakup, Sophie told British Vogue, “I mean, those were the worst few days of my life."
"I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn't leave. My kids were in the States, and I couldn't get to them because I had to finish Joan. And all these articles started coming out…”
Joe Jonas channeled his emotions into music following divorce from Sophie Turner
Soon after the divorce, Jonas channeled his emotions into his music.
Speaking to Billboard at the time, he said, “Finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet.”
He added, “It was scary at times, and also freeing. I'm not trying to come for anyone on this album."
"I'm not trying to put stuff on blast. I have a beautiful life that I'm grateful for. I've got two beautiful kids. I'm a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that – but also, the journey to get here," he said.

After his divorce, Jonas was linked to Stormi Bree, though they parted ways in June 2024.
Meanwhile, Turner has been connected to Peregrine Pearson, although their relationship has faced speculation about a possible split.
