LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Johnny Depp’s recent appearance at an event is going viral, not because of his upcoming role as Uncle Scrooge or any return as Jack Sparrow. Instead, he was seen eating decorative plants off the wall at an event.

Depp is known for his unpredictable behavior, but finding a snack among the decorations was certainly bizarre. The video has now left audiences perplexed and is making rounds on social media.

He ate the decorative plant at a Las Vegas event over the weekend as photographers continued to capture the bizarre moment.

Following Depp’s after-party at Park MGM, a video of the actor quickly went viral. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, 63, was seen posing for photographers while holding a glass of his own drink brand, Three Hearts.

Dressed in a dark outfit and a brown wide-brimmed hat, Depp appeared relaxed as photographers captured the moment. But things took an unexpected turn when he walked toward a framed wall covered in fake greenery.

Depp then leaned into the fake plants and appeared to chew on a leaf as photographers took pictures. He took another bite before raising his drink and smiling at the cameras.

Johnny Depp is gearing up for two upcoming projects

Depp is currently busy with two upcoming projects, 'Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol' and 'Day Drinker'. In July, the actor surprised fans when he appeared as Ebenezer Scrooge, the iconic Christmas miser. He used prosthetics, fake eyebrows, and gray facial hair for the transformation and posed in front of the movie’s poster.

Now, his other upcoming film, 'Day Drinker', has released its trailer, featuring his co-star Penelope Cruz. Depp previously opened up about his choice of roles during a 2013 interview, explaining what draws him to unusual projects.

“Most things that are considered normal and that are very well accepted in life, I’m fascinated by,” he told Charlie Rose in 2013. “Because they just seem like odd things to me," he added. 

Apart from his movies, Depp remained in the headlines for years because of the highly publicized court case involving his ex-wife Amber Heard. Now, with the legal battle behind him and Depp embracing life as a single man, he appears to be enjoying his time in the spotlight again.

However, his bizarre decision to chew a fake leaf at the recent event certainly turned heads.
