LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jon Stewart has harshly criticized Elon Musk’s recent interview with Donald Trump, calling it a tedious exchange that highlighted Trump's gradual shift towards resembling President Joe Biden in the current political landscape.

On 'The Daily Show,' Stewart offered a scathing review of the interview, which was shared on X (formerly Twitter).

Jon Stewart slams Musk-Trump chat as 'two old dudes'

Jon Stewart compared the conversation between Elon Musk and Donald Trump to “two old dudes in a basement talking about how hot each other is,” expressing his astonishment at how dull the discussion was.

“Holy s**t, was that just like two old dudes in a basement talking about how hot each other is? Wow!” Stewart remarked, reflecting his frustration with the interview’s lack of substance.

He admitted that, despite not expecting to be bored, he ended up being “f**king bored” anyway. Stewart also addressed the social media conspiracy theories that attributed technical issues to the “Deep State,” arguing that these problems were merely a consequence of “when you fire 80% of your engineers, s**t goes haywire.”

Stewart further criticized Trump for being more “rambly” than ever, making his points hard to follow. Trump himself later acknowledged that his speech sounded “somewhat different and strange” during the call.

“He’s always been a bit rambly, but holy f**k,” Stewart added.

Jon Stewart draws parallels between Donald Trump and Joe Biden's age issues

This sentiment was echoed by several conservatives, including Megyn Kelly, who also found the Trump-Musk discussion boring, attributing it to Donald Trump’s age.

Stewart took his critique further by suggesting that Trump’s performance and age are increasingly becoming significant issues, drawing a parallel to concerns about Biden’s age.

“I think he is before our eyes becoming Biden in this race,” Stewart stated.

He elaborated on how Trump’s current state mirrors the scrutiny Biden faced regarding his age and performance, suggesting that Trump’s recent behavior might indicate a similar decline.

“The whole idea was that performance by Biden in the debate was so shocking to the system of functionality where you watched a guy and you go, oh s**t, this is a real decline in a way that we had not anticipated, but it obscured what is clearly going on with Trump as well,” Stewart concluded.
