MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods are officially married after tying the knot at a star-studded black-tie ceremony in Malibu on Saturday, August 15, surrounded by family and friends.

The wedding brought together several A-list guests, including Kylie Jenner, Timothee Chalamet, Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Teyana Taylor, Gayle King, Michael B Jordan, Ben Stiller, and Christine Taylor.
Several of Towns’ New York Knicks teammates also attended, including OG Anunoby, Jalen Brunson, and Josh Hart. Guests left the venue wearing customized hoodies that read “Married in 5” and were seen carrying Fanatics party favors and In-N-Out cups.
The duo began their romance in 2020 after meeting through mutual friends years earlier. Woods made their relationship Instagram-official in September 2020, captioning a post, “I found you, then I found me.”
Towns added in his own post, “There are darknesses in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights, the light of all lights.” She had faced several difficult moments before their relationship became romantic.
In 2019, he revealed he had been given a “5 percent chance” of living after a semi-truck hit his car. In April 2020, his mother, Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, died from complications of Covid at age 58. That same year, Towns was hospitalized after being hit by a drunk driver during the NBA’s off-season.
Although the couple was not romantically together during those tragedies, they remained close. Woods also supported Towns through the loss of his mother, while she helped him after her father, John Woods, died in 2017.

Towns later praised Woods for standing by him through some of the most difficult moments of his life. In a 2021 tribute, he wrote that his “woman has held me down more than the world knows,” highlighting her support following family deaths, his car accident, hospitalization, rehabilitation, and Covid.
He has also remained Towns’ biggest cheerleader, frequently supporting him courtside during the NBA season. She was front and center when Towns helped the Knicks win the 2026 NBA Finals, giving the team its first championship title in 53 years.
The couple maintained their relationship while he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves until 2024. She traveled from California to Minnesota to visit him before he signed with the Knicks in 2024, after which they moved to New York together.
They announced their engagement on Christmas Day 2025 after five years of dating. Their joint Instagram post was captioned, “Marry Christmas.” The proposal took place on the rooftop of New York City hotspot Overstory, where Woods said “Yes” as Towns presented her with an emerald-cut diamond engagement ring.
Family members joined them for the occasion, while his younger sister, Jodie Woods, called it “the most beautiful evening.” Following the Knicks’ championship-clinching victory in June, Towns also credited Woods for her support.
“You always pray you're going to pick the right woman for you and I know I did in my fiancee,” he said. He described their relationship as a “true friendship” built from the ground up and noted that he had not “felt love from a woman like that” until meeting Woods.
