Sean 'Diddy' Combs continues prison rehabilitation

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted last summer on two counts of transportation to engage in unlawful activity following a federal trial iNew York. Jurors acquitted him of the more serious charges, including trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

He is also participating in treatment programs at FCI Fort Dix while his legal team continues to appeal his conviction and sentence, calling the "punishment excessive" and seeking acquittal or resentencing.

According to the Bureau of Prisons, participating in these programs can reduce an inmate's sentence by up to a year.

His attorneys previously requested placement at the federal facility because of its treatment programs and proximity to his family.

The approximately 14 months Combs spent at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn following his September 2024 arrest counted as time served, ABC News previously reported.

Combs was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with another inmate, which allegedly led to him being placed in solitary confinement.

According to TMZ the incident began after another inmate, whose identity has not been disclosed insulted the rapper. Prison staff reportedly stepped in and separated the two before the confrontation escalated.

At his November 2025 sentencing Combs said he was "sober for the time, in 25 years" and reflected on his past actions according to CBS News.
