LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The nearly 18-month legal feud between 'It Ends With Us' co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni appears to have finally come full circle. According to People, Baldoni is feeling "ecstatic" after the legal battle tied to the hit film was resolved.

Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, shared that both the actor and producer Jamie Heath are "very pleased" with how the situation was resolved after months of intense legal back-and-forth.

The update came shortly after reports revealed that Lively, 38, along with the film’s production entities, had agreed to a settlement.

As per Extra, lawyer Bryan Freedman said Baldoni and producer Jamie Heath were satisfied with how the settlement concluded.

“I can’t talk about the terms of the settlement, but what I can tell you is that he is ecstatic, that both Jamie and Justin are ecstatic at the results of this and the settlement itself. They are very pleased with where this ended up," Freedman told Extra.

Freedman also clarified that Baldoni, 42, was no longer directly involved in the lawsuit once settlement talks began. “This is not his settlement,” Freedman said.

“He’s already out of the case by the time this settlement discussion even starts. Justin Baldoni is not a party, and that’s what gets forgotten a lot.”

The attorney also shared that Baldoni views the resolution as a natural ending to a case he had already stepped away from. “If you’re looking at this settlement as a win or a loss or anything else, I think he just looks at it as a logical ending to a case that he was already out of,” he added.

Freedman also revealed that several claims and individuals had already been dismissed before the settlement discussions moved forward.

The case officially came to an end on Monday, May 4, after attorneys from both sides confirmed a settlement, just weeks before the matter was expected to head to trial in New York City.

The conflict began in December 2024 when Lively accused Baldoni, her co-star and the film’s director, of misconduct during production and claimed her reputation was damaged in the process. Baldoni denied the allegations and later filed a countersuit worth $400 million, though the case was eventually dismissed.

Earlier this year, Judge Lewis Liman dismissed several major claims connected to the lawsuit, including accusations related to defamation and conspiracy.
