Bieber saw a surge after headlining the second night of the festival’s first weekend on Saturday, April 11. Meanwhile, Carpenter experienced a similar rise after her headline set on Friday, April 10, proving the massive impact of their Coachella appearances.

The two A-listers have delivered their best, turning their Coachella moments into real chart power, with both Bieber and Carpenter breaking into the Billboard Top 10.
According to Complex, Bieber’s 'SWAG' made a dramatic jump from No 55 to No 7, earning 43,000 equivalent album units. The rise marks a 160 percent increase from the previous week. Streaming played the biggest role, with the album bringing in 42,000 SEA units, up 158 per cent, which equals more than 41 million on-demand streams across both 'SWAG' and its deluxe 'SWAG II' edition.
His headline performances on April 11 and 18 during the second night of both Coachella weekends clearly drove the spike, especially with the sets reaching a global audience through YouTube livestreams.
Carpenter is clearly riding the Coachella wave as well. Her album 'Man’s Best Friend' jumped from No 18 to No 10 with 40,000 units, marking a strong 44 per cent rise. The boost comes mainly from streaming, with over 34 million on-demand plays. After lighting up the stage on April 10 and 17, her performances gave the album the push it needed to climb back into the Top 10.
