Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter turn Coachella buzz into Billboard Top 10 success

The two A-listers have delivered their best, turning their Coachella moments into real chart power, with both Bieber and Carpenter breaking into the Billboard Top 10.

According to Complex, Bieber’s 'SWAG' made a dramatic jump from No 55 to No 7, earning 43,000 equivalent album units. The rise marks a 160 percent increase from the previous week. Streaming played the biggest role, with the album bringing in 42,000 SEA units, up 158 per cent, which equals more than 41 million on-demand streams across both 'SWAG' and its deluxe 'SWAG II' edition.

His headline performances on April 11 and 18 during the second night of both Coachella weekends clearly drove the spike, especially with the sets reaching a global audience through YouTube livestreams.

Carpenter is clearly riding the Coachella wave as well. Her album 'Man’s Best Friend' jumped from No 18 to No 10 with 40,000 units, marking a strong 44 per cent rise. The boost comes mainly from streaming, with over 34 million on-demand plays. After lighting up the stage on April 10 and 17, her performances gave the album the push it needed to climb back into the Top 10.

Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter deliver surprise-filled Coachella sets

Bieber kept the energy high during his second Coachella set on April 18, turning it into a guest-filled spectacle. One standout moment came when Billie Eilish joined him onstage for a special 'One Less Lonely Girl' segment.

The surprises continued with SZA performing 'Snooze,' and Big Sean teaming up for 'As Long as You Love Me' and 'No Pressure.' Sexyy Red also appeared for 'Sweet Spot,' alongside Dijon. The second weekend set felt bigger, with more guest appearances, keeping fans hooked both at the venue and on the livestream.’

Meanwhile, Carpenter delivered a set full of surprises. Her second weekend performance took a dramatic turn when Madonna rose from beneath the stage during 'Juno,' sending the crowd into a frenzy. The duo jumped straight into 'Vogue,' teased what felt like a brand new duet, and followed it up with 'Like a Prayer.'

The show also featured fun appearances from Geena Davis and Terry Crews. Madonna later spoke to the crowd, reflecting on her Coachella journey and pointing out that her return comes 20 years after her first performance, making the moment even more memorable.
