'Could have killed someone': Justin Timberlake slammed for joking about DWI arrest at Boston concert
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: Singer-actor Justin Timberlake has been the subject of attention since his DWI arrest less than two weeks ago; however, it appeared that the singer has now begun downplaying the legal situation stemming from his arrest.
The Grammy-winning singer — who is currently traveling the world with his Forget Tomorrow Tour — was under intense scrutiny following his notorious arrest for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York.
The 43-year-old singer and actor recently made a subtle joke about the incident during his global tour concert at Boston's TD Garden on Saturday, June 29.
Justin Timberlake made light of his DWI arrest during Boston concert
The 'Cry Me a River' hitmaker addressed the TD Garden audience during the Boston concert while cracking a joke about the arrest. Fans were quickly drawn in when Timberlake made a very subtly pointed remark regarding his arrest during the address.
In a social media video, Timberlake could be heard addressing the audience, "Is there anyone here tonight that is driving... nah, just kidding!" The audience responded immediately with applause and cheers, per Daily Mail.
According to TMZ, the 'SexyBack' singer asked the audience who was attending him for the first time and who was attending for the second time after making the subtle joke.
Timberlake's joke was made just a few weeks after he was stopped by police in Sag Harbor, New York, and charged with one count of DWI after it was reported that he ran a stop sign and failed multiple sobriety tests.
Timberlake's attorney Ed Burke Jr has stated that his client intends to vigorously contest the accusations. Timberlake earlier addressed the arrest during his Chicago concert, referring to it as a "tough week."
Though the singer's Forget Tomorrow world tour continues, it appears that he is handling the whole thing as a not-so-serious issue since it was earlier reported that he has no intention of entering rehab following his arrest.

"Damn, he’s milking the shit out of this,, get a life," exclaimed another.
One user wrote, "I’ve lost respect for Justin ever since debacle from the Super Bowl when he ripped off Janet Jackson’s top! He never apologized, and she took the brunt of everything!" referring to the infamous Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy.
