LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Despite widespread internet speculation, Justin Timberlake was neither intoxicated nor under the influence during his concert last month.

Sources close to Timberlake confirmed to TMZ that a viral video, which appears to show the pop star looking "under the influence" during a May concert in Las Vegas, has been misinterpreted by online critics.

The video in question, posted on TikTok, shows Justin Timberlake performing at the T-Mobile Arena during his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. In the footage, Timberlake's eyes appear wide and bloodshot, leading many to speculate that he was not sober.

However, insiders insist that Timberlake was completely sober and fully focused during the performance.

"Some have openly wondered and/or speculated that Justin's wide-eyed gaze indicated he wasn't sober -- but we're told he 100% was, as he has been for every show," the sources told TMZ.

They emphasized that Timberlake remains clear-headed and professional at all his concerts, including the one in May.

The resurfaced video has gained traction in the wake of Timberlake's recent DWI arrest.

Last week, the *NSYNC alum was pulled over in Sag Harbor, NY, after allegedly running a stop sign and swerving on the road.

Timberlake's lawyer has vowed to "vigorously" fight the charge, and the singer addressed the incident during his Chicago show, telling the audience, "It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now."

Justin Timberlake's recent DWI arrest has ignited a wave of creative merchandise on platforms like Etsy, with fans leveraging his mugshot for a range of products.

The singer's glassy-eyed mugshot has become a popular motif for various merchandise, including t-shirts, shot glasses, and mugs.

Several Etsy sellers have quickly launched products that humorously reference Timberlake's arrest. A notable t-shirt design features his mugshot paired with the slogan, "I'm Bringing Tipsy Back," a playful nod to his hit song 'SexyBack.'

Another popular item incorporates lyrics from Timberlake's song 'Cry Me A River,' printed over the mugshot.

Additionally, some designs cleverly blend references to his relationship history, such as a t-shirt featuring Britney Spears' lyrics from 'Criminal' alongside the mugshot image.

Timberlake was pulled over in Sag Harbor, NY, after reports of erratic driving. Initially, he claimed to have consumed one martini but allegedly failed a field sobriety test and refused a breathalyzer.

Consequently, he spent the night in jail, pled not guilty to the charges, and was released without bail the following morning. His legal team is prepared to contest the allegations, with a court date set for July 26.
