WASHINGTON, DC: Kai Madison Trump went viral across social media platforms for her behind-the-scenes vlog of her grandfather Donald J Trump's presidential inauguration that took place on January 20, reported Fox News.

According to the publication, the 14-minute video has gathered nearly 27 million views on TikTok and YouTube combined as of Wednesday, January 22.

The 17-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr and Vanessa Haydon first made headlines when she spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July 2024. In her speech, she had described then-presidential nominee Trump as "just a normal grandpa" who sneaked her candies and competed with her in golf.

The Trump family headed to a church service and then to the US Capitol, where Donald Trump took oath as the 47th president. Ahead of the ceremony, Kai was seen snacking on Red Bull and cookies, as well as joking with her father, Don Jr.

While she was not allowed to film the entire event, she did share a few clips from the scene. After the inauguration, she got ready for the Liberty Inauguration ball, where she wore a silver sequined Sherri Hill gown.

Spinning for the camera, Kai noted, "My favorite part of this dress is the corset part because it just makes it look really flattering. I also love all the diamonds and silver stuff. I think it looks really nice on my skin tone."

Afterward, she dropped by the White House with her family to see Trump, entering through a side door. The vlog showed the family taking pictures in front of the fireplace in the iconic Diplomatic Reception Room.

Giving her followers a tour of the Green, Blue, and Red rooms, Kai quipped, "Welcome to the White House."

The vlog proceeded to show her arriving at the ball, being anxious about dancing with her father in front of a massive crowd. However, Kai appeared to gradually grow more confident of herself as time passed. She returned to her hotel at 1 am to get some rest before leaving Washington the following day.
