Cheneys criticize Donald Trump's presidential candidacy

On Friday, September 6, Dick Cheney, who served as vice president under Republican President George W Bush from 2001 to 2009 described Donald Trump as "the greatest threat to our republic" in the nation's 248-year history.

Liz Cheney, a former US Representative and prominent conservative critic of Trump, announced on Wednesday September 4, that she would vote for Harris, labeling Trump as a "danger."

In a post on Truth Social, Trump dismissed the Cheney endorsements, calling Dick Cheney an "irrelevant RINO along with his daughter," using the term "Republicans in Name Only" to describe Republicans he believes are not loyal to him.
