Karoline Leavitt criticizes Democrats for voting against tax cuts

During a recent press conference at the White House, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt commented on the ongoing affordability crisis, adding that Donald Trump and the republicans want hard-working Americans to keep their “hard-earned money.”

However, she said that the Democrats had voted against “massive tax cuts.” She urged the public to remember that the next time any democratic leader tried to talk to them about affordability.

Leavitt added that Democrats didn’t have a “single clue” about how to make life “more affordable” to Americans because they spent the “last four years” creating the affordability crisis that Donald Trump was “fixing right now.”

The White House press secretary added that if given the power ever again, the democrats would implement the same policies that would “jack inflation” right where it was.

Karoline Leavitt discusses the ‘economic mess’ Trump inherited

Leavitt started off the press conference by speaking of the country’s current economic status. When she was asked about the affordability crisis in America, she said it was a “point of frustration” for Donald Trump.

She added that she wanted to set the record straight with facts about the “economic mess that the president inherited” from his predecessor, Joe Biden. She explained that Trump was focused on taking America out of that “hole” every day.

The press secretary assured the press that things were getting better and that Trump understood better than any politician in Washington “the pain that the American consumer has been feeling for years now.”

She recalled Trump’s remarks from a recent press conference in Pennsylvania, where the president said he was elected to “fix this problem.”

Leavitt added that when the president talked about affordability, he was also talking about Democrats being the “greatest con artists in history.”

“Because they are now trying to claim ownership of an issue that they created,” she added. Leavitt further stated that every data point and economic metric showed that the economy was improving under the Trump administration.

“I wish more people would report on those facts, I wish more people would remind the American public how we got here and why,” Leavitt said while speaking to the press.
