WASHINGTON, DC: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed Democrats for taking to the streets in protest of President Donald Trump's recent policies during her appearance on the Monday, April 7 episode of 'Jesse Watters Primetime'.

According to Fox News, over 1200 'Hands Off!' protests took place all across the United States on Monday to protest issues such as the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) federal downsizing, POTUS's announcement of reciprocal tariffs, slashing of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, and immigration reform.

Karoline Leavitt's statement on anti-Trump protests

Leavitt told Fox News anchor Jesse Watters on Monday that protests against Trump policies were for no reason other than to oppose the POTUS's agenda.

"The Democrat Party has been completely captivated by these far-left lunatics," she claimed. "And I'm not sure which Democrat on Capitol Hill is going to stand up and be the sensible voice, but I won't hold my breath and best of luck to them if one chooses to stand out."

"They are enjoying their lowest approval rating ever because this is who they are trying to represent. These far-left activists who don't stand for anything, they only stand against Donald Trump, and they hate," continued the 27-year-old.

"As you just heard from that one individual who wished death upon the President of the United States, they not just hate him, they hate the nearly 80 million Americans who elected him. The Democrats have officially become the party of crazy. President Trump and the Republicans are the party of common sense."

The White House earlier released a statement on the protests that read, "President Trump’s position is clear: He will always protect Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid for eligible beneficiaries. Meanwhile, the Democrats’ stance is giving Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare benefits to illegal aliens, which will bankrupt these programs and crush American seniors."
