WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump’s recent interaction with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt recently cooked up a storm on social media after several users bizarrely declared the exchange had the “same energy” as former president Bill Clinton’s equation with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the 78-year-old Commander-in-Chief was seen conversing with the press secretary, setting tongues wagging online about the implication of their relationship.

An X account by the name @Call To Activism even posted the clip (by the time of writing, it has garnered 1.1 million views), with the caption, “What do you notice in this clip? 👀”

Donald Trump celebrates Easter at the White House

Donald Trump, who celebrated his first Easter at the White House grounds on Sunday, April 20, after taking up the presidency for the second time, sounded excited for the celebrations as he took to his Truth Social to announce the day’s festivities, as per Nicki Swift.

In the video posted online, Leavitt, who also looked excited at the celebration, was seen chatting with the POTUS ahead of the Easter Egg hunt. As the spokesperson bent a little forward to excitedly chat with her boss, the social media found the exchange awkward as they started drawing comparisons with Clinton and Lewinsky.

While the clip is not suggestive of anything amiss in the equation between Trump and Leavitt, who are both married, the netizens could not help but draw comparisons.

Nevertheless, despite the criticism, Trump, who is married to Melania Trump, was also seen holding hands and having a gala time with his wife during the Easter celebration at the White House.
