LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kevin Federline claims his and Britney Spears’ sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, have once again stopped visiting their mother. Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Thursday, October 23, the 47-year-old former dancer revealed that his sons are “terrified” by what they have seen and have chosen to distance themselves from the pop star.

Federline, who shares Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, with Spears, 43, said the situation has become increasingly painful for their family. “Britney saw one of my sons one day this year, and he decided not to go back over there because of what he saw,” he said. “The other one, Jayden, who’s my younger son, is 19 now. He’s been over there quite a few times over the past year, and he’s stopped seeing her in the last few months because of the situation.”

Kevin Federline says sons are ‘worried about their mom’

Federline claimed both boys are deeply concerned about their mother’s well-being. “They’re terrified and they’re worried about their mom and they don’t know how to help because of what all of this has cost,” he said. When asked by host Piers Morgan about what his sons had witnessed, Federline declined to elaborate. “That’s my sons’ story to tell if they decide to,” he replied. “I mean, the things that they’ve seen are shocking, right? So shocking that one of my sons came to me and called me and was like, ‘I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid Mom is going to die.’”

Britney Spears fires back at Kevin Federline’s claims

Representatives for Britney Spears told Us Weekly that the singer is disheartened by Federline’s decision to publicly discuss their family matters. “With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her, and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin,” Spears’ rep said. “All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism.”

Spears later addressed Federline directly on X, writing, “The constant gaslighting from [my] ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting. I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys.”

Britney says, ‘relationships with teenage boys are complex’

Spears reflected on the difficulties maintaining a relationship with her sons since her conservatorship ended. “Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life,” she wrote. “Sadly, they have always witnessed the lack of respect shown by [their] own father for me. They need to take responsibility for themselves.”

She added, “With one son only seeing me for 45 minutes in the past five years and the other with only four visits in the past five years. I have pride too. From now on I will let them know when I am available.”

Britney Spears says she’s trying to ‘live a sacred and private life’

In her post, Spears also accused Federline of spreading “white lies” in his new memoir 'You Thought You Knew', released earlier this month. “Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here,” she wrote.

“I will always love them and if you really know me, you won’t pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking. I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past five years.”

Federline and Spears were married from 2004 to 2007. Their relationship and custody battle have long drawn public attention, but the latest claims have once again reignited concern about the pop icon’s private life and her ongoing estrangement from her sons.
