PIERRE, SOUTH DAKOTA: Kristi Noem has reportedly not received any support from people online after being banned from all South Dakota Tribal lands.

The Flandreau Santee Sioux was the last tribe out of nine that had not severed ties with the Governor of the state, The Daily Beast reported.

However, on Tuesday, May 21, it decided to join hands with other tribes despite earlier claiming they won’t.

Tyler Rambeau, an executive administrative assistant of the FSST Homeowners Assistance Fund, told the Argus Leader, “We need to stand in solidarity with our fellow tribes in South Dakota, the Ochethi Sakowin.”

“We do not want to come up on the wrong side of history in this moment,” he added.

Why did all tribal lands ban Kristi Noem?

The 52-year-old politician left Indigenous American communities fuming with anger after she reportedly accused tribes of working with Mexican drug cartels in January.

She said, “Murders are being committed by cartel members on the Pine Ridge Reservation, and in Rapid City, and a gang called the Ghost Dancers are affiliated with these cartels.”

“They have been successful in recruiting tribal members to join their criminal activity,” she stated at the time.

Besides, the South Dakota Governor once again made such allegations a few months later.

According to The Daily Beast, she said “We’ve got some tribal leaders that I believe are personally benefiting from the cartels being here, and that’s why they attack me every day.”

Noem did not stop there as she went on to further say, “My next step would be to do what I can to get a tribe to participate with me to help their kids be more successful."

“Because they live with 80 percent to 90 percent unemployment. Their kids don’t have any hope. They don’t have parents who show up and help them,” she further said.

“They have a tribal council or a president who focuses on a political agenda more than they care about actually helping somebody’s life look better,” she added.

Kristi Noem was under fire for dog controversy

However, this is not the only controversy Governor Kristi Noem is currently facing. She has been slammed for admitting to killing her pet dog.

In her book titled ‘No Going Back: The Truth on What's Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward’, Noem wrote, “I had to put her down,” The Guardian reported.

Noem also said, “I hated that dog” because she was reportedly “untrainable”, “dangerous to anyone she came in contact with,” and “less than worthless … as a hunting dog”.

“It was not a pleasant job but it had to be done,” she asserted.

Kristi Noem called ‘not a good person’

Meanwhile, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has been thrashed online by many social media users after she was banned by all tribes in the state.

One Facebook user commented, “Good, I bet she won't get reelected either.”

Another user sarcastically said, “The tribes got tired of hiding their animals when she visited.”

“Imagine - not being to set foot on a good portion of your state as governor - because you are such an evil human being! #KristiNoem,” an X user tweeted.

Another wrote, “Not surprised....she speaks with a forked tongue...and she lies out of both.”

One person added, “Good! She had it coming. She is clearly not a good person.”
