Kristi Noem's warm praises for Tim Walz in resurfaced video go viral after she calls him 'radical'
PIERRE, SOUTH DAKOTA: South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem's old praises for Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz recently resurfaced online after she has been continuously mocking the Minnesota Governor and even called him "radical" on social media.
Noem said in an X (formerly Twitter) post, "Walz is no leader. He’s a radical. I served with him in Congress. He pretended to be moderate, then showed his true extremist colors as soon as he became governor."

Old video of Kristi Noem praising Tim Walz goes viral
Kristi Noem also called Tim Walz "a radical leftist governor who truly believes that socialism is the future for America" in a recent interview, reported Raw Story.
However, things between the two were quite different a decade ago when they worked together in Congress and represented neighboring states, according to CNN.
During that time, Walz and Noem shot a video where they discussed a prairie lands protection bill they were working on together. Walz said, "It’s a smart bill and I’m grateful to the Congresswoman both as we share similar geography out there, and while our producers are great stewards of the land, we share that land with our sportsmen and making sure that we have those resources available."
After his statement, Noem added, "I love working with Tim just because he’s got such a commonsense approach, which I like too."
However, during a recent interview with Fox News, Noem slammed Walz and said that during the protests following the death of George Floyd in 2020, he "didn’t take decisive action, didn’t support his cops."
Tim Walz and Kristi Noem's time together in Congress
Kristi Noem and Tim Walz pushed the Protect Our Prairies Act of 2013 as a team, a proposal aimed at disincentivizing crop producers from farming on protected land. They also taped a roughly six-minute video together to vouch for the proposal.
In the video, Walz sat next to Noem and they described how the bill is commonsense – and how easy it is to work with each other.
Walz described the common background he shared with Noem as it was related to protecting rural land. He said, "It’s not theoretical for us. It’s how we grew up. We lived in these towns, and our rural areas are not just underdeveloped urban areas. These are unique places to live that people choose to be there and I think it’s important. I think what Congresswoman Noem and myself are doing is, it’s not a false choice of either or."
Notably, during their time in Congress together, Noem and Walz were co-sponsors of more than 150 bills, according to CNN.
Kristi Noem mocked for her recent remarks about Tim Walz
Many internet users slammed Kristi Noem as an old clip showed her praising Tim Walz after she recently attacked him and called him "radical".
In the comments section of the Raw Story article, one reader wrote, "Dog-killing fascists are notoriously fickle," while another said, "Noem is a lump of clay, susceptible to the wind."
One person asked, "Walz radical? JHC, at least he takes his dog to a dog park, not a gravel pit," whereas another stated, "If you don't lie nonstop, you can't be MAGA."
One individual remarked, "The skelletress puppy killer calling anyone "radical" is the epitome of cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy," while another wrote, "She kills puppies for kicks and then brags about it. Why would I care about this thing's opinion on any matter?"
One reader added, "Someone needs to tell Botox Barbie to just shut the f*** up."
