Kylie Jenner shares unseen video of birthday ride with sister Kim Kardashian's BF Lewis Hamilton

HONOLULU, HAWAII: Kylie Jenner enjoyed an off-road car ride with Lewis Hamilton during her belated 29th birthday celebration in Hawaii and gave fans a glimpse of the getaway through an Instagram carousel on Sunday, August 16.

The Hawaii escape came after Jenner had already celebrated her birthday with friends and family at a Princess Kitty-themed party, with the island getaway appearing to be a more private celebration.

In the video from the Hawaii getaway, Jenner appeared excited as she threw her hands up while strapped into a seat belt beside Hamilton. As the video began, someone in the background could be heard saying, “birthday ride,” before they drove off.

Jenner also shared glimpses of the tropical celebration, including a coconut decorated with a birthday message, a colorful floral lei made with plumeria, roses and other flowers, and a picturesque Hawaiian beach. Her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet did not appear directly in any of the photos, although reports claimed the couple was spotted together in Hawaii.

The duo have been romantically linked since 2023 and have generally kept their relationship away from the spotlight. Ahead of Jenner's birthday, a source told PEOPLE that they were “very much in love” but were not rushing an engagement.

Another insider described them as being “in a great place,” adding that friends and family loved them together and could see them in it for the long haul. Before traveling to Hawaii, she celebrated her 29th birthday early with friends and family at her Beverly Hills home on Saturday, August 8.

She shared photos from the celebration on Instagram the following day, writing, “Happy bday eve to me. i had my dream princess kitty bday night, my heart if [sic] so full i love my life and my friends.”

The Kylie Cosmetics founder wore a pink latex mini halter dress with matching nails, a pink feather boa, crown and Gucci Bombshell sandals. The party featured at least two cakes, including one covered in gemstones and another decorated with cats and the words “Happy Birthday Kitty Kylie.”

Hamilton has also offered glimpses of his relationship with Kim Kardashian. On August 7, the Ferrari driver shared photos of Kardashian, friends and family, captioning the carousel, “Resting, restoring, recharging.” The images included her walking with Hamilton, posing in full glam and appearing with him alongside Glenn Close on the set of 'All's Fair.'

The couple has spent significant time together this summer. In July, Hamilton shared photos from a lake vacation with Kardashian following the death of her grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon. Kardashian's children, Psalm and Chicago, joined the trip, along with Hamilton's niece Willow and nephew Kaiden.

A source previously revealed that Kardashian allowing him around her children reflected “just how much she trusts him.”

They were also confirmed to have vacationed together in Tokyo with three of her younger children. Hamilton has also credited Kardashian for his happiness. Speaking at a fan event in Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix, he was asked whether he was happier because of his Ferrari car or a new girlfriend.

After thanking Ferrari, he added, “And of course, of course, it’s Kim.” The pair first met in September 2014 at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London and remained friends for more than a decade before romance rumors emerged around New Year's 2026 and they officially went public with their relationship in mid-2026.
