CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Lara Trump has voiced her opinion on Kamala Harris' qualifications as she said the Democratic presidential nominee does not qualify to be vice president but was chosen because "she’s a woman."

The RNC chair claimed President Joe Biden previously said they were not looking for a qualified person as VP candidate but based on the fact "she's a woman", particularly "a minority woman."

Lara Trump says she would not accept a position just for being 'a woman'

Emphasizing her personal stance on meritocracy, Lara said on 'The Right View with Lara Trump' that she would never want to accept any position herself unless she got it strictly on merit.

"I am a woman, do me a favor, don't ever give me a position based on the fact that I am a woman. Either I earned it or I didn't. That's all I need," said former president Donald Trump's daughter-in-law.

Lara Trump says there is no issue with a legitimate election loss

On Wednesday, August 7, Lara Trump told NewsNation host Chris Cuomo that there would be no issues if Donald Trump loses the 2024 election to Kamala Harris as long as he lost "legally and legitimately."

“What do you say to people who are concerned that former President Trump won’t play by the rules of democracy unless the rules go his way?” asked host Cuomo.

"Look, my job at the RNC and our number one focus at the RNC, Chris, has been election integrity," replied Lara.

Speaking about the 2020 election, she said, "You can argue whatever you want about the 2020 election, but there is no doubt that half the country, maybe more, feels like there was something off in that election, and it is integral to who we are as Americans that we trust our electoral process, so our number one job at the RNC has been ensuring election integrity."

“Now people of course try to argue about January 6th all the time. I understand that. Here’s the reality. Donald Trump did leave the White House," she continued.

"Donald Trump, even despite the fact that he does not believe he lost that election in 2020, he left the White House. There will be no problem," she asserted.

“It is my job to make sure that people who are voting for Donald Trump feel like their vote matters and their vote counts, and I can assure you, if he does not legally and legitimately win this election, there will be no problem," Lara added, according to Mediaite.

Internet slams Lara Trump claiming Kamala Harris does not qualify to be VP

As Lara Trump claimed Kamala Harris became vice president only because she is a woman and not because she was qualified, netizens slammed the RNC chair for her opinion.

"Just like how she got to be RNC chair with no political experience. Mmk," a user wrote on X while another tweeted, "Are they deliberately gaslighting us or does she actually think she's qualified to be RNC Chair?"

"Now we know for sure one cannot overdose on hypocrisy," a netizen commented and someone remarked, "This lady is an absolute joke. She was installed into the RNC and is currently working her nepotism job just like the rest of that corrupt family."

"Oh boy! Lara Trump is talking about qualifications! Let's listen!" a user tweeted while an individual penned, "Does she mean like how she was named RNC Co-Chair because her last name is Trump?"
