WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News firebrand Laura Ingraham couldn’t resist taking a jab at former President Barack Obama’s sitting posture during a recent podcast appearance.

While Obama poured his heart out about his successor, President Donald Trump, undoing his legacy, Ingraham highlighted his body language and posted a zinger that went viral on social media.

Obama appeared on the final episode of Marc Maron’s long-running podcast 'WTF With Marc Maron,' marking episode number 1,686. The identity of his final guest had been kept under wraps until the Monday release.

During the heart-to-heart, Maron asked Obama about the vacuum he left behind when he exited the White House.

“I remember when you left, and there is this sort of a vacuum,” Maron said. “And in terms of obviously, my responsibility to my audience is different, but how do you sort of — did you feel the weight of that responsibility?”

Obama responded, “Yeah. I mean, what was unusual for me was obviously, a lot of what I represented, a lot of what Michelle and I had tried to project, the values, our thinking about America, my successor seemed to represent the opposite."

“Right,” Maron replied.

““Not seemed — did,” Obama added pointedly. “And so, I think there was a lot of anger, a lot of sadness, some fear among a big chunk of the country..”

But Ingraham appeared to gloss over Obama’s message, seemingly distracted by his posture. “And women out there, do you like a man who sits like that?” she posted on X, sharing a clip from the podcast.

Social media reacts to Barack Obama posture

Obama critics on social media were left in splits over Ingraham's comment about the former's slouched pose.

"All my men friends who sit like that are out of the closet," one responded on X with laughing emojis.

"He is trying to hide his true self. He is feeling exposed & wants to disappear into the chair cushion. To answer your question, absolutely not," another chimed in.

"He obviously has zero awareness at the moment of what his body language is signaling," a comment read

"Obama is just practicing his 'Basic Instinct' leg crossing and uncrossing," someone else quipped.

"Body language!!! Wow, feeling insecure, afraid, fearful. protecting himself with how he is seated, with his arms, with his head and lack of eye contact. This is an animal who is backed into a corner," another offered

Laura Ingraham’s history of trolling Barack Obama

This isn’t Laura Ingraham’s first jab at Obama. She has frequently criticized him on her Fox show 'The Ingraham Angle.'

Last October, she slammed him for urging Black voters to back then-Vice President Kamala Harris's White House bid. “Rather than addressing concerns about Harris' record on the economy and on the border, people's standards of living — he tried to shame Black men into supporting her,” Ingraham said.

What's more? Ingraham literally wrote a book mocking Obama. Her 2010 #1 New York Times bestseller, 'The Obama Diaries,' imagined fictional diary entries from the Obama family and administration. It was a satirical takedown of his policies and the otherwise glossy image of the Obama White House.

Ingraham also mocked Obama in her 2010 #1 New York Times bestseller, 'The Obama Diaries', which imagined fictional diary entries from the Obama family and administration.

In 2014, she called out Obama for what she termed an “imperial presidency,” accusing him of bristling at constitutional checks on his power.
