WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump ally and far-right provocateur Laura Loomer launched a blistering attack on Tucker Carlson, accusing the former Fox News host of being “controlled by Muslims.”

She claimed this influence explains his opposition to Israel in its conflict with Iran, amid the ongoing debate in MAGA world over whether America should join the conflict.

Loomer, echoing Fox News host Mark Levin, who mockingly dubbed Carlson “Qatarlson,” claimed Carlson is under the influence of Qatar, a controversial US ally with ties to both Iran and Hamas.

Laura Loomer slams Tucker Carlson as a threat to pro-Trump values

Laura Loomer publicly criticized Tucker Carlson after discovering recent FARA documents.

On X, she posted a screenshot and wrote, "Here’s the screenshot from the FARA documents filled out this year that prove Qatar paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for an interview between @TuckerCarlson and the Prime Minister of Qatar (the same Qatar which funds HAMAS) regarding the 'war with Iran'”

She called the interview a “paid propaganda piece,” claiming that  "$200,000 was paid by the Embassy of the State of Qatar for Tucker to interview a Qatari official all while knowing HAMAS is an Iranian proxy and funded by Qatar".

Loomer added, "Qatar funds Islamic terror all around the world and they think they can just pay everyone off to make them turn a blind eye. The Qataris are global funders of Islamic terrorism and their money has been used to murder American citizens. These are good people."

Loomer accused Carlson of pretending his views on Iran are original while actually participating in paid interviews by Qatar, which she said provides luxury lifestyles to Hamas leaders in Doha. She said, “Tucker should just be honest that he’s a mouthpiece for genocidal Muslims."

She also attacked a Muslim investor in Carlson’s media company. She claimed, "His media company was literally funded by a MUSLIM investor who is half Pakistani and half Iranian and who spends a lot of time in Qatar. And trust me when I say a lot of people in pro-Trump circles are very uncomfortable with this."

Finally, she insisted, “Tucker is controlled by Muslims. People need to wake up and stop pretending like this is a conspiracy theory. Qatar and Iran are buying off conservative podcasters to push pro-Islamist, anti-American and anti-Israel talking points to undermine President Trump."

Laura Loomer’s accusations come after journalist’s report

Laura Loomer’s accusation comes after a mid-May report in The Washington Examiner looked into how Qatar is trying to influence US politics. The report said Qatar is focusing on pro-MAGA influencers to get closer to Trump’s team.

Journalist Robert Schmad wrote that one of Qatar’s biggest wins so far was setting up a friendly interview in March between Tucker Carlson and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

That interview, where Carlson praised Qatar, has been viewed nearly six million times on X and YouTube.

Schmad shared, "Perhaps Qatar’s biggest victory in its post-election right-wing media campaign thus far was securing an interview between Tucker Carlson and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in March. The interview, which has raked up nearly six million views across X and YouTube, was friendly, with Carlson praising the country"

Schmad also said, "Qatar paid top dollar to ensure this interview took place. Foreign Agents Registration Act records show that Lumen8 Advisors LLC, a legal consulting company for which very little public information is available, helped facilitate between Carlson and the Qatari dignitary."

He added, "The Embassy of the State of Qatar pays Lumen8 Advisors $180,000 per month to provide media and communication coaching and consulting services."

Tucker Carlson denies Laura Loomer allegations

However, an Independent report said the FARA document cited by Loomer shows that Lumen8 Advisors had not disbursed any money in connection with activity on behalf of Qatar over the past six months.

This was pointed out by Neil patel – the CEO of Carlson’s media company and longtime friend of the former Fox News star - while denying Loomer’s accusations.

“Allegations that Tucker Carlson or Tucker Carlson Network took money from any foreign country for an interview or for any other reason are categorically and definitively false and defamatory,” Patel posted on X on Wednesday, which Carlson retweeted.

“Neither Tucker nor TCN has ever taken a penny from Qatar or any foreign country. To the contrary, TCN bought out all its investors last March to achieve total and absolute independence. Almost no other major media company can make that claim.”
