WASHINGTON, DC: One of President Donald Trump’s loudest and most loyal cheerleaders just flipped the script.

Firebrand MAGA activist Laura Loomer came out swinging on Sunday, April 11, slamming Trump over reports that his administration is set to accept a $400 million luxury Boeing jet from the Qatari government.

Laura Loomer says Trump accepting Qatar's jet gift is 'very disappointing'

Loomer fired off a series of scathing posts on X, making it clear she’s not okay with Trump cozying up to Qatar’s ruling elite.

She called the swanky aircraft a “gift from jihadists in suits,” and questioned how the Trump White House could ever crack down on radical Islamic groups while taking luxury planes from countries accused of funding them, Mediaite reported.

“How are we supposed to ever see the US under the Trump admin designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization if the US is now going to accept a $400 million jet from Qatar to fly the US President and his staff around on?” Loomer posted.

“This is something we were promised would happen during the first admin, but it never happened.”

She pointed the finger directly at Qatar for allegedly funding radical groups like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood - and warned that Trump’s credibility on foreign policy is now on the line.

“Both the UAE and Saudi Arabia have designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, and this week, @POTUS will be having meetings with Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia,” she wrote. “Qatar funds HAMAS and the Muslim Brotherhood.”

She continued, “It’s going to be hard for the admin to designate the Muslim Brotherhood and obliterate Iranian proxies in Hamas and Hezbollah when Qatar funds the Muslim Brotherhood, harbors HAMAS, and the US just accepted a $400 million jet from Qatar. It’s very disappointing.”

Laura Loomer accuses Qatar of terror funding

Loomer even tied Trump’s recent executive order into the controversy. “It’s also worth noting that President Trump just signed an executive order on April 23, 2025, requiring US educational institutions to disclose the source of their funding,” she noted.

“Guess where most of that foreign funding is coming from? Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The biggest lobby in DC is the Qatar lobby. We are watching an Islamic takeover of our country in real time," she alleged.

In a follow-up post, Loomer wrote, “I love President Trump. I would take a bullet for him. But, I have to call a spade a spade. We cannot accept a $400 million ‘gift’ from jihadists in suits.”

She linked the Qatari regime to terror networks that have targeted Americans: “The Qataris fund the same Iranian proxies in Hamas and Hezbollah who have murdered US Service Members. The same proxies that have worked with the Mexican cartels to get jihadists across our border.”

“This is really going to be such a stain on the admin if this is true. And I say that as someone who would take a bullet for Trump. I’m so disappointed," the MAGA firebrand lamented.

White House promises 'full transparency' over gift of jet from Qatar

Trump confirmed in a social media post that his administration is preparing to accept the aircraft, calling the move a “very public and transparent transaction” in partnership with the Defense Department.

According to ABC News, the luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet will serve as Air Force One until Trump leaves office - at which point it’ll land in the hands of the Trump presidential library foundation. The jet — which Trump toured back in February while it was parked at West Palm Beach International Airport — is so extravagant it’s earned the nickname “a flying palace.”

A senior White House official told ABC that while the gift was expected to be announced during Trump’s visit to Qatar next week, it "will not be presented or gifted while the president is in Qatar this week.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended the transaction. “Any gift given by a foreign government is always accepted in full compliance with all applicable laws," she said, adding, “President Trump's Administration is committed to full transparency.”
