NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News contributor Leo Terrell joined co-hosts Will Cain, Rachel Campos, and Pete Hegseth to discuss the reason behind President Joe Biden losing support among Black voters on the Sunday, May 19 episode of 'Fox & Friends.'

Claiming that systemic discrimination has ceased to exist in the present-day United States, the former Democrat stated that Biden was 'too late' to do anything to win back support from voters, even with a major section of mainstream media propagating his lies.

Leo Terrell on Democrats losing Black supporters

"The Democrat playbook is outdated, it's old," he began when asked about Biden's dropping poll stats. "Going to a Black church, going to a Black college ... does not work any longer."

"They play the race card. They claim that there's still systemic discrimination. This is not 1945. Black Americans want the same things you want (pointing out the co-hosts), what everybody wants. They want low inflation, they want greater job opportunities, they want a secure border, and they want a strong national defense. Those are the things that anyone wants," he explained.

"And there is nothing Biden can do to change the shift because it's too late. The shift from the Democrats to the Republican Party has been going on for the last six months, and it is going towards Trump because he offered opportunities."

Leo Terrell accuses Democrats of lying

When co-host Cain questioned Terrell why the Democratic Party's message against Donald Trump was not resonating with people, the latter responded, "Because it is not true, it is a lie. And the Democrats that have protection from 90% of the media, they propagate that story."

Terrell opened up about feeling disillusioned as a Democrat back in 2020 when the Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests took place, and calls were raised for defunding the police.

"There are people of all colors running the law enforcement ... so the race card is dead. I think people have woken up instead (to the fact that) this is not true. 'They (Democrats) are lying to us,' and that's why they are moving away," he added.
