BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: The prosecutor's office in Argentina stated that Liam Payne might have been "semi-conscious or completely unconscious" when he suffered a fatal fall from a third-floor hotel balcony.

The 31-year-old singer fell 45 feet from the third floor into the courtyard of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16, with medical personnel later confirming his death.

Police confirms seizure of substances from Liam Payne's hotel room

Detectives have confirmed the seizure of various substances from a hotel room, "indicating the previous situation of alcohol and drug consumption." This statement contradicts police reports that the 31-year-old "jumped" from the balcony of the third-floor hotel.

Before Payne's death, hotel staff urgently called 911 to report "an aggressive man who appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol" and was "trashing his room."

Detectives have reportedly seized a bottle of whiskey, a lighter, a phone, and a notebook from the singer's suite, as per local media reports.

This comes after Argentine media outlets, including major newspapers, released disturbing images believed to be from Payne's suite, showing white powder, burnt foil, and a damaged television screen.

Argentinian investigators are actively searching for two women who were with Payne at the hotel on the night before his tragic death. Reports from the Argentine news outlet Infobae indicate that both women waited for the celebrity in the hotel lobby before departing the premises.

While there is no evidence indicating that the women were involved in his death, police believe they could offer valuable insights into Payne's final moments leading up to his tragic fall.

Photos from Liam Payne's trashed suite reveal a destroyed TV, tin foil, and scorch marks

Hotel guests reported hearing "violent noises" and initially assumed that construction work was taking place in the room, according to the BBC.

Photographs have surfaced from within his opulent suite, seemingly depicting a smashed television, areas blanketed with tin foil and white powder, along with scorch marks on the wooden surfaces.

As more details emerge about the hours leading up to Payne's death, fellow hotel guest Doug Jones told the BBC that he heard "violent noises" coming from the hotel room.

Jones said, "I thought they were working on the room. There was a lot of noise, like heavy lifting, like banging, a lot of loud, violent noises, I thought. And I saw hotel people going in and out of that room, so I thought they were doing work on the room."

He said, "So about 4 pm, 4.30 pm, I started hearing some more noise, I was still doing work, and I heard a really loud, violent scream around 4.45 pm, 5 pm." He realized something was amiss when he saw "the whole road was full of cops."

Police responded to a hotel around 5 pm after receiving reports of an aggressive individual possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Upon arrival, they encountered a loud noise emanating from the inner courtyard.

Preliminary report reveals Liam Payne suffered multiple wounds leading to instant death

Liam Payne sustained multiple injuries, including a fractured skull, which led to his immediate death. A preliminary autopsy report indicates that "everything suggests" Payne was alone at the time of the incident.

Local news sources report that Payne was transported to the Judicial Morgue for an autopsy, as per the Daily Mail.

The initial findings indicate that Payne's death resulted from external and internal bleeding due to multiple injuries.

Authorities have requested further tests, including toxicological, biochemical, and histopathological examinations. The prosecutor's office noted that forensic reports showed no signs of third-party involvement, and the autopsy results align with a fall from a height.

However, officials are launching an investigation into the "possible involvement of third parties" leading up to his death.
