LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Late-night television has often been a platform for satire and commentary on current events, and Jimmy Kimmel is no stranger to using his platform to deliver scathing critiques of politicians and public figures.

In a recent segment, Kimmel seized upon the testimony of David Pecker, former publisher of the National Enquirer, to unleash a torrent of mockery aimed squarely at former President Donald Trump.

Pringle pecker takes the stand

Pecker, who bears a striking resemblance to the iconic figure on the Pringles can, took the stand in Trump's hush money case and described what he termed a "mutually beneficial relationship" with Trump.

Kimmel wasted no time in pointing out the absurdity of a sitting president cozying up to a tabloid publisher, quipping, "It's weird the only faithful relationship Trump's ever been in is with the National Enquirer."

The revelation that Trump had such a relationship with the National Enquirer prompted Kimmel to draw parallels to another mythical figure, jesting, "There are only two people on the planet who can say that: Donald Trump and Bigfoot."

$30,000 payment to Trump tower doorman revealed

One of the most startling revelations from Pecker's testimony was his admission that he paid $30,000 to a doorman at Trump Tower to suppress a story alleging Trump fathered an illegitimate child with a maid.

Kimmel added his own twist to the story, saying, "Also, it was triplets and the maid was Cindy Crawford – but it never happened."

Pecker further testified that he acted as Trump's "eyes and ears" for negative stories, facilitating payments to women with damaging information about Trump and orchestrating the publication of positive stories about him.

Kimmel highlighted the irony of Trump's attacks on mainstream media outlets like the New York Times while simultaneously engaging in the creation of what Kimmel termed "fake news" with Pecker.

"Everything he accuses anyone else of is something he actually did," Kimmel remarks, encapsulating the hypocrisy at the heart of Trump's rhetoric.

Social media buzzes with support for Kimmel's Trump takedowns

Jimmy Kimmel's relentless takedowns of Donald Trump and his associates have struck a chord with viewers, as evidenced by the passionate responses flooding social media.

One user wrote, "Keep it up Jimmy. You're getting under his orange skin and it's driving him crazier. Good job!"

Another replied, "Poor baby. Lock him up. Pecker just as bad. Keep at it Jimmy."

One said, "Not even a judge can shut him up."

One commented, "It is hilarious watching trump walking around with his picture book that his staff made for him."

Another added, "So true. He always accuses others of what he does."

One said, "I giggled a bit when I saw the headline "Pecker screws Trump.""

One user commented, "You know Trump is watching this and his head is exploding."
