INDIO, CALIFORNIA: The vintage costume Madonna wore on-stage while performing as a guest artist during Sabrina Carpenter’s Coachella Weekend two headlining show has reportedly gone missing.

The ‘Queen of Pop’ took to Instagram to share the news and sought help from the public to find the missing outfit. She also mentioned that the costume is important since it is part of her “history.”

Madonna offers reward for return of missing costumes

As per a social media update from the pop icon, the costume disappeared following the show. “Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella! Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible. Bringing Confessions II back to where it began was such a thrill,” Madonna began.

“This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing – my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments,” she shared.

“These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history,” Madonna stated, adding, “Other archival items from the same era went missing as well. I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team at Infomaverick2026@/gmai.com”

“I’m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all my heart,” she further mentioned. Fans were quick to rally behind the pop star, requesting safe return of the valuable clothing items.

Madonna wore outfits from her ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ era at Coachella

On April 17, Madonna joined Carpenter’s Coachella set as a guest performer, belting out hits like ‘Vogue’ and ‘Like a Prayer.’ The pop icon was dressed in iconic outfits from her 2005 ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ era, including a vintage purple corset bodysuit, and a Gucci Resort 2006 jacket.

She also wore lavender-colored gloves, purple lace stockings and boots alongside a pair of shades. While speaking to the crowd from the stage, Madonna mentioned that her outfit consisted of “the same corset, the same boots, and the same Gucci jacket” she wore for her first-ever Coachella appearance nearly 20 years ago in 2006.

During the show, Madonna also teamed up with Carpenter to sing a brand-new track from her upcoming album, ‘Confessions II,’ sequel to her ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor album,’ set to release on July 3, 2026.
