LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Margaret Qualley has made a subtle change to her Instagram that is drawing attention after reports claimed she and Jack Antonoff had gone their separate ways.
The 'The Substance' star first fueled split rumors by archiving photos featuring her husband. However, after reports of a possible separation began circulating online, the actress restored some of those posts to her Instagram.
The unexpected move has led to further speculation about the state of the couple's relationship.
Margaret Qualley archives wedding photos amid split rumors
Qualley and Antonoff's relationship has become the subject of fresh speculation after PEOPLE reported that the couple had gone their separate ways. According to the outlet, one source described their marriage as "rocky," while another said the pair are still "figuring things out."
The breakup buzz intensified after Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's July 3 wedding without Qualley, bringing his sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, as his plus-one.
The split rumors gained further traction after fans noticed that Qualley had quietly archived several Instagram posts from the couple's August 2023 New Jersey wedding. However, she left two posts featuring Antonoff untouched - one showing the pair together after a clip of her dancing, and another from February 2025 that captures the couple laughing together.
Qualley initially appeared to have restored four photos, though only two posts remain visible. While the pair has yet to issue an official statement, some fans viewed Qualley’s decision to unarchive the photos shortly after the split reports surfaced as a sign that the rumors may be unfounded.
Inside Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff's relationship
Qualley and Antonoff first sparked dating rumors in 2021 after they were spotted kissing in Brooklyn. They made their relationship public the following year, appearing together at the AFI Awards Luncheon before going Instagram official.
Antonoff later revealed on 'The Howard Stern Show' that he proposed while they were living in Paris. Before asking Qualley to marry him, he called her sister, Rainey, to ask for her blessing.
Recalling the proposal, he said, "I came back, and I could tell that I looked crazy 'cause she looked at me like something was wrong, and I think it's because I had begun to sweat. And all I do is joke, so when I become serious, I think it's a bit arresting."
The couple married in a star-studded ceremony in New Jersey in August 2023, attended by Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Zoe Kravitz, Cara Delevingne, and Channing Tatum.
Before their wedding, Qualley called Antonoff "my person," telling Harper's Bazaar, "I am so happy that I found my person... It's the best feeling in the world."
