WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) sent shockwaves among MAGA supporters with her recent X (formerly Twitter) post, in which she declared President Donald Trump "is not a king," according to Daily Boulder.

The 51-year-old, who is one of Trump’s loudest supporters in Congress, penned a lengthy post on X on Wednesday, June 25, where she mentioned that she supports the POTUS "even when I occasionally disagree with him."

Marjorie Taylor Greene declares 'Trump is not a king' and 'MAGA is not a cult'

Marjorie Taylor Greene began, "Trump is not a king, he is our elected President, and I support him, even when I occasionally disagree with him. I’m an American and having my own opinion and the freedom to speak it is the most American way."

She continued, "MAGA is not a cult, it’s a populist political movement, filled with a wide range of diversity of Americans that desperately wants the government to prioritize the American people, our country, and our problems. If MAGA can’t hold it together on an occasional disagreement then MAGA will lose its power."

"In 2016, we elected Trump because we were disgusted with the establishment, and MAGA has been at war with the establishment ever since. But don’t be fooled into believing we have beaten them," she added.

Interestingly, Greene's warning was not aimed at Trump, but at the people around him.

She also went after warmongering political insiders for disguising themselves as MAGA to hijack the movement.

"Currently the establishment has wrapped themselves in MAGA like a costume, speaking our language and infiltrating our movement, and is waiting to take back control," Greene wrote.

She insisted, "But they can’t yet because we still have our champion, Trump, to rally around and beat the establishment back. But in just a few years that will no longer be the case."

The far-right firebrand also warned that when Trump leaves the political stage, these same forces will try to reclaim control.

"That is a harsh reality coming and those are going to be very difficult shoes to fill, which will lead to disappointment for many," she stated.

Greene then aimed the push for military action overseas, especially the growing calls in Washington to involve the US in a conflict between Israel and Iran.

"I have always taken a hard stance against America going into foreign wars and regime change and forcing the American military to do it and the American people to pay for it," she wrote, before adding, "To me it’s the most hypocritical thing in the world… war after war after war."

The congresswoman ended her post by taking a jibe at the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, and accusing them of putting war, money, and power above the American people.

"My point is, both parties are failing the American people in many ways. And it’s because both political parties always put special interests, foreign countries/wars, and their own grip on power above the American people and the future of our country," Greene expressed.

"Moving forward there must be a better way to serve Americans and save our children’s future. We should not be divided on that," the Georgia politician wrote, concluding her post.

Internet slams Marjorie Taylor Greene over 'Trump is not a king' post

Marjorie Taylor Greene's latest post didn't seem to sit well among many MAGA supporters, as one X user wrote, "Still trying to do spin control?" while another added, "Are you going to participate in the next no King protest?"

A person bluntly stated, "I liked you..now i don't," whereas someone else added, "Damage control? You said what you said. As for your office being flooded with calls? I highly doubt they're positive," possibly referring to the backlash Greene faced for criticizing Trump's decision to attack Iran.

"Haha…good try giving excuses…you’ve made enough money and haven’t produced result," another tweet read.

One more wrote, "So basically it will be difficult to get an apology when you were wrong?" while another added, "That’s a funny way of saying you were wrong."

"You do have the freedom to speak out. But you aren’t free from the consequences of your actions. Not sure how Trump feels but for me I don’t think I will trust much of what you say anymore. But at the end of the day, I didn’t vote to elect you. If your constituents are ok with your position, I suppose it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks," one more MAGA supporter said.

A netizen expressed, "Nobody cares, you already showed your true stripes. Stop being a social media drama queen."
